hiatus hernia

my mother 70 obesse is having a severe hiatus hernia and she is in bed since last 3 yrs she can just get up to do her daily routine as she had broken her hip bone and the hiatus hernia seems to be have worsened since last some time she is vomitting very much she also coughs a lot alopathic treatment is going on i have also tried nux vomica 30 3-4 drops in water 3 times a day some pls get to this and tell me what should be done.
