Help for itchy, flaky, excessively dry skin
Can anyone help me?I'm a 41 year old female and I'm suffering from itchy, flaky skin all over my body, but especially the face and upper body and arms.
I have always had mild eczema but this is another level altogether and is dominating my life. It started about 2 years ago. I was referred to a dermatologist who tested me for all sorts of allergies and found nothing, so the diagnosis is 'dermatitis'. I can't apply steroid creams to my whole face and upper body but it's approaching summer and I'm covered in scabs from scratching.
Nothing relieves the itching, except steroid tablets which i've taken on 3 occasions when it's been really bad.
I'm hoping that sulphur will help - how much and how often should I take it?

Despair and feeling that I have no life.
21. One situation that had a big effect on you ?
I had a massive flare-up of my rash and itching a few months ago and I was unable to go out for a week because my face was bright red, eyes closed with swelling and then my skin was peeling.

Local government, working with young people - project management.
29. desire or like and dislike of food

30. Name of foods which increase your problem
None that I can identify
31. Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry, impatient and so.. on and how you are peculiar from other person, public speaking or not , you can describe all the detail about behavior, love and affection.
I am feeling growing anger towards my partner and sometimes my children. My public persona is quite different - I am outgoing and confident at work and often do public speaking and work with groups which I do enjoy, as long as I don't have a terrible rash on my face.
I used to love exercising and the outdoors but now will stay indoors most of the time because I do not feel fit enough to go out - it hurts my shoulder and can often aggravate my rash. I don't know what's wrong with my shoulder but it's very painful and sometimes I can't sleep because of this.
I can often be very tearful for no good reason.
I live in a beautiful clean place with the people who love me and can't understand what is wrong with me.
I am usually very patient and not in a hurry - I find it very hard to become motivated to clean the house etc and to do the tasks I have to do, especially in the house.
32. Aggravation (increases-time, season,)& Amelioration (Decreases)
Nothing I can identify makes it better or worse.
Steroid tablets temporarily clear away all symptoms, but I can only take these for one or two days very occasionally
33. Attached here your photographs of the affected area. (if required/optional)
I hope this helps - please reply.
