Toddler sleep problems
My 24 month toddler wakes up at 3 am to eat. he won't eat much during daytime. Then at 3 or 4 am he gets very hungry. I still breastfeed, even at night. Then he wont sleep till morning, and now the sleep schedule is very irregular. As baby, he slept good. 12-13 hour nights. and naps. but ever since he got hungry, at 3 am every morning, he doesn't sleep through the night. I try to keep him very tired to encourage sleep, but it's not working. I give him chamomile tea, but doesn't help much. he still wakes up. i end up extemely tired, and feel very restless from lack of sleep. I try to sleep during his sleep times, but have great difficulty because of restlessness. Is there something to help him sleep through the night, or something to help him eat better daytime that the sleep may become regular? He is very pleasant baby, especially when he wake up. But when he is tired, he gets difficult, and whiney, and clingy.
foods he loves: mushrooms, ketchup, raisins, dried prunes, apples,
I don't know what more information you need about him. I use hylands chamomile teething tablets for him.
He goes #2 every other day, in his diaper, when he goes, he hides.
he gets scared when he hears loud sounds such as airplanes.
more so when he is tired.
he is not afraid of animals or bugs or spiders
he loves to watch cartoons and children movie. even home videos of family members.
he is healthy...
thank you for you answers. let me know if you need more informations.
