Help for my cold

Hi,
Thanks for any help anyone can offer me.

I have a rather nasty cold, in the past many of my colds turn to sinus infections and I would like to avoid that and antibiotics!

It's only day 5 of my cold, each day it seems to get a bit worse and change.

Currently my symptoms:
1)runny nose - sometimes very copious watery,clear discharge - sometimes stuffed up and not running. My nose & upper lip are burning and inflamed from blowing my nose so much yesterday.
2)cough.. alternates between dry and something where i might bring something up. cough seems worse in afternoon & evening. also cough seems worse in warm rooms, better when i go outside into cold temp.
3) plugged ears.. painful in the evening
4) sneezing.. big sudden bouts of sneezing which hurt my throat and double me over.
5) foggy mind

Thanks for your help.
You said I should report back after a couple weeks so I am.

I didn't have Ars 200c.. often my vet has me dissolve 30c pills in 1/2c water and use 1tsp of that (for dogs). So that's what I did for 3 days - not sure if that dosage is stronger or weaker then the 200c.

After 3-4 days I was feeling a LOT better. Congestion was not so bad. However, I do still have some of the cold lingering. Now I feel pretty good, I just have to clear my throat often which definitely gets worse in the afternoon & worse in the heat. My ears also feel plugged. I have also had some headaches this week - all sort of behind the eyes but not too bad.
