Dengue treatment and prevention
I am posting here as I have been given a homeopathic treatment for Dengue Fever. A good friend of mine passed it on to me, but I don't know where it came from yet.I wanted to know if anyone knows of this treatment. It's in Portuguese, but I'll try to put it into English.
Rhus tox. / Eupatorium perf. / China off. / Ledum palustre/
Gelsemium/ 5CH/ aã.
The above is for prevention as well and treatment.
What follows is given for Dengue haemorrhagic fever:
Phosphorus 12 CH , glóbulos ou tabletes ou gotas pela manhã ; e à tarde :
Crotalus horridus, 12 Ch, 4 tabletes ou gotas, etc... até as plaquetas
normalizarem-se.(150 000)
If anyone has any comments, I would very much appreciate it.
Brazil, as you may know, is going through a very difficult time now with Dengue and if this treatment can be of help, there are many that could benefit from it.
I have no experience with Dengue so I can't give my opinion.

RHUS TOX./ EUPATORIUM PERF./ CHINA OFF./ LEDUM PALUSTRE/ GELSEMIUM/ 5CH/ aã.
Just take this formula to a homeopathic pharmacy and they will know what to do. The formula can be made in globules (sacarose), tablets (lactose), or drops (alcohol at 30%) at ANY HOMEOPATHIC PHARMACY. Include next to the components of the above formula your choice of:
* globules 12g, or
* tablets 12g, or
* drops 15ml.
This formula should be used for DENGUE PREVENTION in the following manner:
Take 3 globules or tablets or drops ONCE A DAY while the epidemic season lasts. This formula can be taken by adults as well as children of any age, except that children should not use the alcohol-based drops. The globules or tablets should be slowly dissolved in the mouth.
For babies, the mother can dissolve 2 globules in a teaspoon of water to facilitate administration of the medicine. If the baby is UNDER 3 months old and is being breast-fed, the mother can take 6 globules before nursing, since the effect will pass to the child through the mothers milk.
Pregnant women can and SHOULD use this formula.
THIS FORMULA CAN BE GIVEN TO BABIES OF ANY AGE THAT ARE NOT BEING BREAST-FED.
IT SHOULD BE USED FOR THE TREATMENT OF DENGUE or even a suspected case of dengue, as follows: Take 3 globules (or tablets or drops) every two hours and then, as the symptoms improve, BEGIN SPREADING OUT THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MEDICINE TO ONCE EVERY THREE HOURS AND THEN ONCE EVERY FOUR HOURS, etc., UNTIL COMPLETE REMISSION OF THE SYMPTOMS.
In the innumerable cases that I have treated, the disease evolves mildly and resolves itself without getting worse or leaving sequelae, (secondary consequences).
So far, with those patients who have used this formula as prevention, there have not been any cases of infection, at least not reported to me.
I distribute this formula every year to all the personnel at IHB during the periods of epidemics and since I began doing so, not one of the approximately 22 employees has contracted the disease, not even those who live in areas where it is endemic.
In cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) or even suspicion of DHF (that is, platelets below 150,000), particularly in the case of children, ADD THE FOLLOWING two medicines to the above treatment:
PHOSPHORUS, 12 CH, 4 globules or tablets or drops taken in the morning; and
CROTALUS, 12 CH, 4 globules or tablets or drops taken in the evening, until the platelets return to normal (150,000). DONT STOP TAKING THE OTHER FORMULA. ACT QUICKLY.
In the cases I have treated, the platelet count RISES surprisingly quickly.
The alcohol at 30% is indicated for patients who cant use sugar (diabetics). Take it with a little water. Its obvious that for children, the tablets are better. Use the globules for anyone who is lactose intolerant or allergic to milk.
You can use externally a cream made of Ledum Palustre as a repellent. This works quite effectively without causing allergies. This is only to be used if you absolutely CANT use repellent.
ANY HOMEOPATHIC PHARMACY can prepare these medicines.
Its a good idea to take vitamin B complex. The American soldiers in Vietnam used this as it leaves a smell on the skin that chases away mosquitoes. Also vitamin C is good, as it strengthens the immune system and collagen.
Theres a formula for children called Teragran Jr. that has both vitamins.
Like everyone, deeply emotionally affected and shocked by what has been happening lately, especially in relation to children and pregnant women, I decided to publish my humble experience with dengue fever prevention and treatment.
I ASK FOR CALM IN THIS CRISIS THAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH, AND CONFIDENCE. NEVER DESPAIR, BUT ACT QUICKLY, SEEKING MEDICAL HELP TO TAKE THE BLOOD TEST, and for rehydration. REHYDRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT, EVEN WITH HOMEMADE ORAL REHYDRATION SOLUTION, AS IS REST.
Of course homeopathy does not DO AWAY WITH or INTERFERE with the obligatory medical care in these cases, nor should we neglect to eradicate the vector (the Aedes aegypti mosquito) by eliminating its breeding sites.

I need a Dengue remedy for the Philippines. I have family there and interested in giving the remedy for free to the population close by. I will burden the costs. I will also intorduced it to the governemnt and doctors. My problem is which formuls to use. You have two formulas.
And where can I purchase this in large quantities at a good price from the manufacture or distibutor

My Advice for Dengue fever is as follow:
Normal Dengue Fever: Eupatorium perf 200 or 1M can be taken once daily for three days and subsequently at least two doses a week at the interval of three to four day till the epidemic persist for the prevention of dengue fever. Furthermore arsenic alb + Bryonia + Dengue fever + Echinacea angustifolia + Ledum Pal + Rhus tox in 30 potency should be taken once in a day for at least 2 weeks.
In case of Fever: Take Aconite 1M and Eupatorium 1M alternatively, after every 30 minutes immediately on start fever. Just take 3 doses of each remedy. If the symptoms persist then contact your homeopath or your physician. Above mention formula can also be use in case of normal dengue fever with more frequent intervals.

I shall copy below the remedy I have prescribed to many hundreds of patients which has CURED them usually in 24 hours. Patients have confirmed that they noticed a distinct reduction of their body aches and headache in 3 hours and that their Platelet count rises with every dose by 1000.
The Remedy is Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200c in the Wet dose taken as prescribed below:
First dose 20ml or about 2 tablespoonfuls
Thereafter a capful or 5ml taken every 2 hours
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
If the Liquid Dilution is not available you may use 6 pellets of the remedy to save time in getting the Liquid Dilution as the patient must be given the remedy ASAP.
Do not give the patient any drugs including Paracetemol as it will affect the liver.
You will not take any drugs when you start my therapy.
