urinary infection
Hello,my grandmother is 80 years old,she is suffering of chronicle urinary infection. The doctor prescribed her already 4 different kinds of antibiotics but none of them would help her.I bought for her cantharis 6C,30C and 200C..she started to use the 6C..it is not helping her at all..but i believe she needs to take the higher potency..Could you please help and suggest how often should she take the cantharis 200C or 30C in what dosage and for how long..thank you very much for your help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try cantharis 30c thrice daily upto recovery. If you choose 200c,try it at weekly interval.

remember
cantharis is a nosode, it should be taken carefully.
also if 6c has shown no improvement, 200c weekly dose is not advisable.
please look at totality of symptoms.
Also the patient is of a sensitive age, taking a 200 potency weekly, cantharis can result in extreme burnings in all parts of the body.

Elderly people suffering from urinary infection is mainly due to BPH.If you do the Ultrasonogram of whole abdomen, you will find mild to moderately enlarged prostate. That should be treated. It is not cured only by nosode.Constitutional remedy is essential.Cantharis 200c weekly interval means doses required upto recovery of acute stage. If 2 doses dosen't give any relief, then think about another way.
