Slip disk or Sciatica

Hello Doctors.
Iwould like to know weather slip disk or sciatica both r same.
I m suffring from a pain in my right leg that is from hip to tow. After taking madicins from a doc I got relief from pain but lower portion of right leg is bit num and limping while walking. this happend 15 days back.What do u suggest.
