Rosacea and Homoeopathic remedy.
Hi,I think I have Rosacea. I am from India, fair skinned, working in UK for the last 6 years and a strong believer in homoeopathy.
It started off as hot flushing on my face, forehead and ears, 2 years ago, which would aggravate when in closed (meeting) rooms, when in the sun, with exertion, after warm showers, from anxiety, embarrassment and alcohol (especially red wine).
Previously, the hot red flushing would come and go, but now the flushing occurs less frequently (since the last 8-10 months). However, my face is permanently pinkish now, with dilated blood vessels visible on the cheek line just below my eyes, on both sides. This area has a slight swelling as well and the redness aggravates with the above mentioned triggers. Also, I get a burning sensation on my eye lids, whenever my face is flushing, so I think I have a ocular rosacea as well.
I get tiny red pustules on my forehead, ears and cheeks from time time, which are not acne. They would come and go. My BP is 135/85 and I am 32. It appears to me that I have a classic case of Rosacea, but I might not be totally correct.
Whenever I go to India, I visit different homoeopaths- they have prescribed me the following remedies but nothing seems to have helped.
Bell (200), Sulphur (don't remember the potency, may be 200), Rus Tux (again dont remember the potency), Arsenic Album (30) and Arnica M (30). These were prescribed by different homoeopaths and I have taken them as per their instructions-but nothing has reduced my Rosacea-so I am looking for answers here.
Hoping to hear from someone soon.
Thanks
