Remedy for COPD in horses?
Hi allMy mother in laws pony has been diagnosed with COPD and now has to live outside. Apparently her lungs are only working at 50%. The horse is allergic to dust, and has to have her hay soaked.
I was wondering if anyone could advise on a remedy that would help her breathing? She is forever couging, and you can tell she is breathing with great effort has you can see her 'heaving'.
Your help is appreciated
Cheers
Michelle

Hello.
Has the horse had this problem a long time? Do you know something special happened before the horse had this problem?
Not easy to find a medicine to a pony I can not see, just based on descriptions from you.
You must describe the pony quite detailed. What kind of mood, what kind of physical symptoms. as detailed as possible.
Horses have feelings just like us humans. Often occurs such cases on the basis of traumatic events. Could something have happened that triggered this allergy? Please tell me everything you know, or Check with the person who knows the horse best.
Waiting for report.
Mr. P.

Hallo igjen.
Just found the literature I have for horses and homeopathy.
Under section: Resperiratory Disease. 1. C.O.P.D, also known as S.A.D or Heaven.
I write down some symptoms, and you can see if any of these are parallel to the horse's symptoms, ok?
1. Increasing in mucus and moist coughing, whit exhaustion and muscular weakness.
2. Hot dry skin, dilated pupils and excitability. Pulse full and pounding.
3. Blood is coughed up and conditioning decreases in severity as night approaches.
4. Pulmonary (arteries carry blood from the heart to the Lung) severe edema, accompanied by extension of edema to the laryngeal area.
5. The breath is laboured and oppressed, nostrils becom flayed in the effort two Inhale.
The pulse is strong and full and may reach Ninety beats per minute. Occasionally blood may come from the nose. Legs and ears become cold and the eyes betray anxiety.
Other symptoms that you have observed.
Parakletos.
