The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Postpartum hormone imbalance

Hello,

Iwas wondering if anybody could help me...
I'm 37 y.o. and had a baby a month ago. The pregnancy was absolutely normal and I didn’t have any complications during or after the delivery except minor mood swings, which actually have a real reason for them. Anyway, I developed pretty dry skin about 10 days ago. It’s very rough but does not look red. I tried a number of different moisturizers but nothing works because there is an internal cause I’m guessing. I’ve read that sometimes women develop hormonal imbalances after birth. I have a homeopathy kit and hopefully have the right remedy in their. Thank you for your advice.

Please take three doses of Arsenicum Album 200c (or 30c if readily available in the kit) at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you for your advice. I didn't have Arsenicum Album in 200C so I was taking 30C instead. The skin is much better. It remains dry on the cheek bones and on the chin but it's not as flaky as it was. I also noticed that the dry skin on my fingers, which looked also a little bit cracked, like I've been peeling potatoes all day, has improved as well. I'm still gassy, which was not the case before I got into my third trimester. The heels are still dry and cracked but they've been like this for years. Again, thank you for input.
