Dr Sameer 7years old frequent cold and fever

Hello Sameer,

My son is seven years old. He frequently gets cold - like once in a month time also fever something like once in three months.

He is quite skinny with large head Muscles are thin but otherwise runs fast and has good stamina. Body is flexible - can perform difficult yoga postures with ease. He is logical and just. He gets excited easily. Remains happy.

He has moles in his body - one on the side of the jaw and still growing ( 2mm) and other at the back two of them. He has dark discoloration on his chest at two places - size something 1.5cm. Afraid if left alone in the night and afraid of sounds that are common but he can't relate to.

He gets night sweats on the parts that touch the bedding. Sneezes when exposed to air cooler but removes cover while sleeping. He sometimes complains of crawling at the foot and in the ear ( when symptoms are aggravated). His body jerks while sleeping. He talks logical and intelligently but when excited or some guest are around he talks stupid and without any reasoning. He has dandruff ( big flakes like) in his head. Though he is quite logical but lacks ideas and often forgetful. Dislike to get late for school and often cries he if gets late -tries to get up much early so that he reach in time - and sometimes tells me to wake him up at 4:30am. If he is left to himself he prefers to lie down in his own thoughts. Competitive attitude is present - like compitition with his elder sister.
