Any treatment for eye sight affected by diabetes?

I know someone who has had their eye sight effected by diabetes. Is there any remedy for these conditions? I don't know all the particulars of the condition and the person will not post on this forum. This a very general question so I don't expect a specific remedy, I'm just seeing if there is anything that can be done.

Homeopathy may help.Homeopathy is a good complementary therapy for Diabetic patients who are already on prescribed medications.
