Remedy for shock for son
I wanted to request a remedy for my son. It is for the effects of shock. He is 3 years and 11 months.My sister in law showed my son the film Jurassic Park in which dinosaurs attack people. Then on Sunday (3 days ago) we took him to the natural history museum where they have a life size moving and roaring Tyrannosaurs Rex (the ferocious dinosaur). He was screaming with panic and fear not to go near the dinosaur but my sister in-law insisted on taking him. Since then his behaviour has become erratic, moody, stubborn, he gets upset, he hits other children.

Give him aconite 200c one dose and report in a week.

My homeopath has recomended Aconite 1M. 3 pills 3 times daily for 3 days. I questioned giving a high dose so often. She says that it is necessary to continue for 3 days to completely balance the negativity caused by that incident and If we stop before the 3 days the symptoms will re-appear again in few days. May I have a second opinion on this by an experienced homeopath please.

I too think 1M thrice daily for three days is too many a dose.
You presented a problem and i gave you a suggestion. Fortunately the issue is not about the remedy choice :).
It's upto you to decide what potency and what frequency to give. If you decide 200c you can give one dose and wait for a week. If need be repeat after a week. The same way if you decide to use 1M use just one dose and wait for a week before repeating. Repetition is not necessary if the child shows significant improvement.
