I am 24 yrs.I have pain in my Hip and in the my left inner thigh while sitting in Cross-legged(Indian style), i cant sit for more than 2 mins in this position and also it pains in night while i am sleeping in some positions and there is no pain in thigh while i walk or sit in any other positions. I consulted a orthopedic surgeon and got my X-ray and MRI done but both said its normal so doctor said there is no problem as such but i still do have the pain from last 6 months can some one please help???

I presume that you experience the pain you describe when you sit cross legged on the floor. I notice that you have consulted orthopedic surgeons and have done Xrays and even a MRI and that their verdict has been to reassure you that all is well. I am surprised that they did not explain to you the real reason why you experience pain as this is due to over-stretching the muscles or perhaps the tendon in the thigh which causes the pain.

I was a keen horseman about 65 years ago and I remember the pain that resulted if I did not ride for a few months as these same muscles are used to maintain a grip with the knees on the saddle. I noticed that if I rode a horse daily as I did at that time in Colombo where I live purely for exercise purposes, the pain did not return but if I did not ride for a few weeks, it did.

There is no cure to overcome this pain and you must continue to sit on the floor to avoid the pain as often as possible to ensure that your pain does not increase with age.

You can also take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose twice daily to observe if it helps with your pain and I would appreciate if you will report your response.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
