2.5y boy with stuffy nose
dear sir or madam:My 2.5 year old boy had serious stuffy nose for more then 1 week. 2-3 days ago, he's also with yellow mucus, which most of the time comes from right nostril. I used Kali bich and Pulsatilla from 3 days ago, the yellow mucus seems getting less.
He current uses mouth to breath. When he falls asleep, the stuffy nose seems gone. When he wakes up, the stuffy nose come back within 10 minutes. He's father had nose polyp. problems, I'm worried about that his breathing mouth will get his throat dry and easily to cough in the end.
He hates crowd even if relavives shall take 2-3 days to get along well, loves the familiar enviorment, abd loves to stand or sit somewhere not be paid attentation. Very independant in granny's but need a lot of hungs while with parents. With a lot of imagination.
He didn't pass his stool every since he's born. Most of the time 3-5 days. Current he takes saseme suger and 1-2 days he can pass the stool successfully without difficulties.
Currnetly the biggest problem seems the stuffy nose, I found no way to help him.
Another problem, I order some remedy last week, but it will take 7-10 days to arrive. If this is the case, shall I order 30c and some 200c remedy in case I need them?

Stuffy nose for children and even elders are very frequently helped with LYCOPODIUM 30c.
I would advice to give:
Calc Carb 30c - 1 dose. In 2 hours, give a dose of Phos 30c. Again after 2 hours, give a dose of LYCO 30.
These 3 medicines, in this sequence, given with 2 hours interval has restored several kids from this. Calc Carb is to stimulate, Phos to add strength and Lyco to promote toxin elimination. These 3 has the power to restore good health for all ages. This I give as a preventive during cold seasons and has seldom disappointed me.
You may have to repeat this once again after 4 days.

These 3 remedies in this sequence, with 2 hours interval between doses. One time only and repeated only after a few days, if needed. This addresses the constitutional reason for getting cold and prevent recurrence. This also helps to reduce the requirement for other medicines, since it addresses the constitution.
For stuffy nose, you can give Lycopodium 30c, one dose any time during the night and it is found to relieve within few minutes. Rarely, I rely on Nux Vomica 30 - 1 dose if Lyco is less effective. You can give either before or after the 3 medicines, based on need.
Sore throat should also go away. If not, the remedy that never failed is giving Gelsemium 30 and Phytolacca 30, 2 pellets each, but given together. This rarely needs repetition. If needed, can be repeated every 2 to 4 hours based on severity.

Another problem you mention about the dosage. Some of my remedy from Boiron suggest 3-5 pellets for a dosage, and most remedies from UK suggest 1 pellets for a dosage. Should I follow the suggestion?

As a general rule, 1 pellet is enough. 3 to 4 pellets are suggested, to cover few exceptions. You are fine with 1 pellet, even for Boiron remedies.
Lyco 30 can be used any time, if you see stuffy nose, without the other 3 remedies.
Please note that KALI MUR 6x (Cell Salts or called Bio Chemic), 3 tablets, 3 times a day, provides the nutrition to expedite recovery from the 2nd stage of cold.
I rarely give kali biCHROM 200 - 1 dose only, if the 3rd stage of cold prolongs.

I'll make notes of all you mentioned here. About the stages of cold, is there any definition about them? I opten found young kids or elder people seems to get another new cold but feel difficulties about to make suggestions about the remedy. Most of the time they didn't think that the last cold had ended and they seem get a new one.
I myself tried the calc, phos, lyco 3 days ago, the cold seems recover 80% already, then feeling a little forehead headache and shoulder and boneache shows up. The throat pain and the cough seems much better but still bothering, so I tried the Drosera/NuxVomica and 2days later, the situation's still there but much much better. I had begun cough since december 2010. A week ago, I still can sleep well and have to sit up to stop cough during mightnight. It's really much better now.
Another problem about my husband being ill, he's very sick(I guess it's influenza coz a lot ppl cough and being sick very year during this winter). 2 weeks ago he has to work very late and sometime went to bed until 3-4 am in the morning. I guess he's very worried about the business. He began very ill since Feb 1 2011. His nose used to be very allergy and nasal choncha is easy to get fat then he has to breath by mouth and with a lot of sneezing. He seems to have lot of nose discharge every 5 hours, weeks ago the discharge was yellow and thick. Currently it's like water(so it seems to become better). He's had a lot sneeze everything 5 hours, and maybe sneeze for one hour than cough comes up. He even cough out some blood in the phlegm several days ago. I gave him the 3 magical remedies, the total situation seems getting better compare to 3 days ago. But there seems no way to stop the sneezes that comes every 5 hours. He's 2 nostril got stuffy nose in turns(it's really much better compared to 3 days ago, both of the nostril were all stuffy the doctor said that his nasal choncha were sooooooo fat), he's currently with a lot of sneeze then comes cough with a lot of phlegm while with a little diarrhea problem, the stool seems soft.
I gave him the 3 magic remedies 3 days ago, today he felt like to take it once. Then I gave him lyco and Nux Vomica. Lyco can help for a while, should I just give him Nux Vomica very often?

If your home is thermally sealed (as common in most US states), run air-purifier in the bed room. This is a almost a necessity.Honeywell makes very good units for ~$130.
Check the relative humidity (measured in RH%) of your home and write to me. Digital Wall clocks with humidity measurement are available. If you cannot find, give me your city and postal code. I will google it for average humidity in your living place.
Give the following medicine for your husband: Give ARNICA 30 in wet dose, 3 to 4 times a day. Stress and over-work are unfortunately common and Arnica is a healer coming for help. In the same time, let him repeat the 3 remedies once or twice.
If after the 3 remedies, if the cold still lingers, give Kali Bich 200 - 1 dose and then start KALI MUR 6x (cell salt), 3 tablets, 3 to 4 times a day. This will accelerate elimination of toxin from the body and thus clears cold sooner.
