HPV - 9 months & counting
I am a 35 year old female diagnosed with HPV nine months ago. I have NO symptoms and every repeat pap, with the exception of the first, that I have had since that dianosis (4 total) have come back normal except for the HPV virus testing positive. I have been taking multi-vitamins as well as recently started taking beta carotene and folic acid (started folic today) since I have read posts on other sites about these two vitamins helping. I want to get rid of this virus and would love to quite going to the doctor every three to six months for follow-ups and would also love a clean bill of health. I am on no medications, eat well and exercise often.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it looks like you are OK right now. But, you must do more in providing the info. on your mental and physical symptoms. Homoeopathic treatment is not like allopathic as it treats you as a whole not just one symptom.

I only found out that I had it b/c my GYN tested for it when I went in for my annual exam. The test came back positive and I also had an abnormal pap at that time. I went back in for a coloscopy and the results were normal except for the HPV. I went back for a three month and 6 month follow-up and both times I've tested positive with normal paps. I have another coloscopy this Friday per my GYN's request. I have had no symtoms that I am aware of, but it is worrysome that I have had this for that long of period since I was under the impression that it should have worked it's way out of my body. I assume I contracted HPV from a boyfriend that I had several years ago. I guess I'm worried about having this for such a lengthy amount of time and the stigma that it attached to having this (maybe it's 'stigma' of my own creation).
Is taking the folic acid and beta carotene a good course of action??
