Constitutional remedy
Hello,I have another question. Even though some experts disagree with the concept of constitutional remedy, I personally think it's likely to exist and so I'd like to find mine.
My main problem is apathy and lack of energy.
I tried to figure out my own constitutional remedy by looking up psychological characteristics, and I have much in common with Sulphur, Nut Vom and Sepia. I tried Sepia 30c and felt better, but didn't try Sulphur or Nux Vomica.
Can someone please help me figure out my constitutional remedy?
A bit about me. I am 34, 5'4', 109kg (losing steadily from 133kg since Nov). In November I started exercising and this had a magical effect on my well-being - this is NOT an exaggeration! Now I exercise 6 days a week, combination of jogging/walking, a short Ashtanga yoga sequence every day. After I lose another 20-25kg I'll go into Ashtanga yoga and dance, as this is what I like most.
In terms of personality, I am independent, if someone tries to enforce their beliefs on me I just stop interacting with this person. I don't tell people how to live their lives. I rarely socialise and prefer spending time on my own, learning about different things. If I find something that feels right to me, I try to find out more about it, try it myself, and sometimes this becomes part of my daily life. ...Like Ashtanga yoga, for example: I did regular yoga for a couple of years when I was a teenager, but it didn't appeal to me nearly as much as Ashtanga - when I first saw the practice, I immediately felt 'yes, this feels right!'. Most of my decisions I make based on some non-logical way, call it intuition or gut feeling or whatever. That said, I am not a nutter and am quite capable of 'normal' interactions. However, the more important a decision is, the deeper I would try to reach inwards to see which solution would feel right. Unfortunately, I can't explain why some things feel right and other don't.
In terms of food, I eat fish, vegetables, a little chocolate, herbal teas. Used to drink 2 cups of coffee daily, but for the past 2 weeks didn't drink coffee at all. Lately I began eating a lot of peanuts about which I made a separate post on this forum.
Please let me know what you think, and a sincere thank you for trying to help.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION
It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.
1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?
Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.
As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.
Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.
Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.
Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.
Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.
If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:
1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

Thank you for the reply, David. Here are my answers.
1.What exactly happens?
I feel, tired, dull, my mind isn't sharp and willing to do mental work that's piling up. Instead, I am absorbed in reading books on yoga, spiritual things, sometimes material on weight loss this I can do all day long, I get very absorbed in books and articles that are useful.
2.Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
No pain.
3.What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
Stress, situations where even though I did my best not to take on some responsibility, it finds its way onto my shoulders and I really don't feel like dealing with it. I don't like feeling cold, that makes me depressed and miserable.
4.What creates some relief for the problem?
Warmth, exercise work asonishingly well, if I could exercise 10 hours a day, I would, as this puts me in a good mood, makes me happy and relaxed. Herbal tea helps, sometimes a nap.
5.What triggers the problem into occuring?
Nothing really. The dullness sets in about an hour after I come home from the gym and more or less stays all day long, unless I find books that occupy my interest and pass the time that way.
6.What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
It's more or less all day long.
7.When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?
Started about a month ago, I suddenly started feeling how heavy I am, which is strange because I was heavier than that a couple of months earlier and didn't feel the heaviness. When I took Sepia 30c, my mood got better, I felt not necessarily more enrgetic but internally better, but the feeling that I am very heavy remains. It's not a false feeling, as I am easily 45kg overweight still, even though I already lost about 25kg; this is something I am working on. Joe advised me Nat Phos 6x 2 tablets 3 times a day after meals, and I have just started this.
a) As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.
About 6 years ago I had a relationship, not long, about 6 months, where for some reason I was very attracted to him. Things didn't work out, and I took it very badly, from ending up in a hospital once to thinking of suicide. Writing this now it feels strange, as I am perhaps the last person who would contemplate suicide. After a few months I suddenly had a realisation that I was ok again.
Shortly after that I married, not out of love. I did like him, but we didn't know each other that well when we got married. The marriage lasted 1 year, and during this year I gradually came to conculsions that I didn't want to stay with him, that I felt nothing for him, and that in general, marriage was too restricive for me. Not because I was promiscuous far from it! But because it's very important for me to be free. Coming home every night and finding another person there did't feel right. I needed alone time very intensely. In addition, my ex shouted and screamed at times, and this is a definite no-no for me. My parents shouted at me and even beat me when I was a child, so if I find myself in any environment that contains shouting and other oppressive behaviour I automatically detach and make it my goal to get rid of this environment, no matter what the cost.
b) Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.
They generate stress, and I first try to manage the stress and then try to find a simple solution.
c) Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.
Nothing to report here, sorry.
d) Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.
As long as I am on my own, have a little money to live on and have interesting things to study and do, I am fine. If these things are missing, I feel trapped.
e) Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.
No serious childhood diseases. I think I had mumps, but that's about it.
My parents always expected me to be the best, to get excellent marks all the time. They were very demanding and absolutely didn't care about what I thought and felt. I was a very valuable possession, don't get me wrong, but a possession nonetheless. If I didn't do as they wanted, they punished me, hurt, beat and insulted me. I had no freedom at all; if I was 5 nins late from school I would be questioned and reprimanded. They also took time to tell me all the things I couldn't do, so until I left them to live on my own I never actually lived. I spent my childhood virtually numb, and because of this I don't really have much to report. I didn't hate my parents then, and I certainly have no hard feelings for them now. I remember looking out of the window on a summer day. It was a very bright day, warm enough to feel it's summer and not too hot. And this day I knew I would spend indoors, practicing for music lessons, which I hated. Even though all this is gone and in the past, the feeling of being trapped and there being no way out is pretty vivid in my mind. I have since been very careful never to let anytone or anything interfere with my freedom. I know that if I have the freedom I can solve other problems little by little, but if I don't have freedom I feel caged and just lose myself.
1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
No cravings, but have been eating a lot of peanuts lately, which I'll stop because it slows down my weight loss. And it's not specifically peanut butter, even though I do like peanut butter, I don't crave it specifically.
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
No cravings; I absolutely, positively hate milk.
3. What your sleep is like
I sleep well, 8 hours easily. I can't be sleep-deprived because that affects me very badly.
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
I don't like feeling cold; don't like being under rain. That said, I don't like sorching heat either. Cool/warm weather is best. I get cold easily and need warmth in house. If my room is cold, I get depressed. A couple of years ago I bought a small heater, and it's been my salvation since.
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
Stress, ratrace-like environment. I don't like nervious people and stay away from them. Actually, I pretty much stay away from everyone as I like being on my own.
6. What your general level of energy is like
If I am doing something that interests me, my energy is boundless and never-ending. I go after things and pursue them until I achieve what I was after. However, if I have to do something I am not interested in, I simply don't give a damn and ignore it.
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
I rarely come across men I find attractive, but when I do, my sexual energy is quite high.
8. Describe your menstrual cycle
About 28 days... I haven't kept track of it actually, will start paying more attention.
Please let me know if you need more information and thank you again for your help.

Update: a friend's homeopath advises Lachesis 200c. What do you think?

I cannot see Lachesis at all in this case. I have some ideas about general directions for exploration, but need more clarification.
Please expand on the following expressions you have used. Be descriptive, colourful, verbose.
For any expression, first define the meaning of it, then give me an example using an image or concept or situation, then give an example in your life where you experience (if you haven't already done so).
For example, 'Constricting is like a tentacle crushing the life out of you', or 'Shattered is like being thrown against the ground and smashed to pieces' or 'Devastated is like being told you are going to jail' and so on.

Before starting a medicine prescribed by me, you will need to stop the Nat-phos as in traditional homoeopathic treatment you cannot take more than one medicine at once.
The language you have used is very evocative and I look forward to seeing what you write next.

Thank you for the reply, David. Of course, I'll stop Nat Phos while taking the remedy you suggest.
You asked for some clarifications, and here they are.
'Absorbed' means keenly interested, like finding something that's struck a chord in you and following it to see where it leads.
'Exercise' is yoga, jogging, brisk walking, dance. It has to be somewhat vigorous, but not frantic. So for example, I find Pilates unappealing, and when I did classical yoga I found it was ok, but not great. You see, one thing is to watch others, another thing is to find a suitable daily practice for yourself. So when I say that classical yoga wasn't 'great' I mean 'didn't readily become a daily practice for me'. But with Ashtanga yoga, because of transitions and the dynamic aspect of it, I enjoy it a lot and practice every day. I don't like sprinting and competitive sports in general, as I feel out of touch with body, they are too jarring.
'Heavy' means just that. I feel that if I were to somehow get rid of the extra weight on my body, I'll feel much more clearly what my body is telling me. And once I get the body's message, I'll fix the mind too, as this works very well for me. I don't respond to counselling, to me this is some theory, but I can quite efficiently deal with mental states via physical exercise. Unfortunately, this avenue isn't completely open to me at the moment, at least until I lose more of the unwanted weight.
'Restrictive', 'oppressive', 'trapped', 'caged' were used as synonyms here, more or less. I meant a feeling of not being able to do what I want, being bound by other people's wishes and orders. I feel in such cases as if my energy is being choked out of me, and an odd feeling of 'I don't care' comes over me which I don't quite know how to describe. I lived in the 'I don't care' state through most of my childhood and teenage years, and the words 'detach' and 'numb' are my attempts to describe this feeling, at least to some extent. By 'freedom' I mean the feeling that I can do as I want, think and feel what I want, this feels literally like I have a lot of fresh air to breathe, I am unrestricted and my energy is at its highest.
'Valuable possession' is, for example, a teapot you cherish. You dust it carefully, you put it in a beautiful showcase with carefully chosen lights, etc. But then your teapot tells you that it doesn't feel like sitting in the showcase, as a matter of fact it doesn't like the look of the showcase at all. It would much rather sit on the kitchen table. And yeah, the lights suck too, your teapot informs you. Now if your teapot tells you all this you immediately go and have your head checked out, just in case. But if your child tells you this, you beat and bully your child into submission because you just can't understand that, however small, a child is another human being not at all different from an adult, except perhaps in size. You feel that you know what's best for your child, but that seems less and less probable as years go by.
Hope this was relevant. By the way, where can I read more about Lachesis constitutional type? I am curious as to why this guy advised it to me.
Thank you!

The specific problem of Lachesis seems to be the problem of jealousy, or how to get the better of (be one-up on) a rival, especially in the situation of male-female relationships or in the sphere of sexual relationships. It is the situation of someone who has to compete against a person with better qualities, as for example a menopausal woman whose husband has a young girlfriend. She has the feeling of weakness within herself as she compares herself to her younger and more attractive rival. She feels that there are conspiracies against her and this makes her suspicious of people around her. Her survival depends on her being one-up on her rival, and she does this with clever, manipulative talk. With her loquacity, she is able to attract and retain the attention of the listener; she can be witty, sarcastic, loud, animated, vividly expressive, excited. She observes the listener, judging all the time his interest level, and at the correct moment unnoticed by the latter, she injects the venom that works in him after he has left her presence. Her talk can be clairvoyant, prophetic. She may tell of going into a trance or being under superhuman control, or she may relate spiritual experiences or religious theories, all this with enough doses of sexual suggestibility.
She becomes so engrossed with the competition, so for the time being, she has to shut off from work ('Business, aversion to'). When her very best efforts to compete fail she may turn religious, spiritual, and may feel that death is near and that she should concentrate on spiritual things; she then starts meditating. Hence the rubric: 'Avoids company to indulge in her fancy.'
Lachesis persons can be interested in the beauty of nature, in amusement, and their speech can be magnetic. Advertising has a lot to do with Lachesis, concerned as it is with jealousy and one-upmanship: it amuses, entertains and catches attention, pushing its own product up while cleverly pushing other products down, and quickly injects you with temptations for the product being advertised. A lot of the entertainment industry also has to do with the Lachesis theme and I have observed that Lachesis people often get into the advertising or entertainment industries.
The main theme of Lachesis is show. The ideal situation that would best bring out this feeling for a Lachesis patient would be a beauty contest. She would try to beat the competition through any means.
Vithoulkas gives the essence of Lachesis as 'an over-stimulation seeking an outlet.' By this he means that on all levels the Lachesis patient has an inner stimulation or agitation which must be expressed either through the physical symptoms or through behavior or speech. The mind is full of ideas and the patient cannot bear to keep them back (loquacity). The emotions are extremely passionate and the patient will express them with often frightening intensity. Physically there is an inner erethism which is expressed as pulsations, hemorrhage, flushes, and discharges.
Intensity. The Lachesis patient is passionate on all fronts. He works hard, he competes intensely, he loves jealously. The patient is almost always described as 'intense' by those around him. Often he is very egotistical and arrogant. The Lachesis patient knows the weakness of others and will not hesitate to strike at these vulnerable points. He has a sarcastic wit and can be cutting even to his friends or physician.
Jealousy. Lachesis has very high sexual energy and passion. The patient needs the outlet of a sexual relationship and he becomes very attached to and possessive of his partner. Lachesis may have an absolutely unreasoning suspicion of his partner. The suspicious attitude does not involve only romantic relationships but also a general view of other's intentions. If carried too far the patient may develop frank paranoia.
Loquacity. Lachesis is the most loquacious of all our patients. He cannot help himself. There is so much inside that needs to be expressed, he cannot contain it all. Many times the patient is so talkative that it is impossible for anyone to get a word in edgewise.

Describe to me the most 'free' situation or experience you can imagine.
It's when I don't need to worry about interacting with people or earning a living and can spend all my time searching for answers to questions that interest me. It also means having a sexual partner with whom to explore sex on physical level and beyond. I do have to admit that if I genuinely desire someone this desire borders on obsession when it comes to the fantasies and dreams I have about this man.
Give me an image for trapped.
Words 'dull' and 'stuffy' come to mind at once. Unfulfilled, not feeling like true self. A sort of apathy. It's not that easy to describe.
Tell me, in your life, what has conflicted most with your freedom?
Parents, need to conform to their rules and being powerless against them, at least initially.
Need to interact with all sorts of people, not just the ones I want to interact with.
Finding a balance between needing to earn a living (and therefore having to interact with people) and retaining my own space, where I can be alone and myself.
What has made you feel the most trapped?
Parents: people who were more powerful than me, so I had to endure instead of fighting back (even though I did some fighting back). At the first opportunity I left them and started living on my own.
Responsibilities I didn't choose to take on. I have now learned to dodge them quite successfully, so that's less of a problem these days.
About your description of Lachesis... while I am certainly not a poster case of Lachesis, some parts of the description are quite similar to my personality. It's true that I don't have a husband with a younger girlfriend, but if I were to desire a man whom I couldn't have, say because he was married, I'd feel quite intensely about it, and it would have taken a substantial amout of diverting energy to stop thinking of him and the vicious circle. So even though being a Lachesis isn't exactly something one would wish for, I do see some of the less attractive features of this type in me.

You are almost definitely an animal remedy, that I would agree with. However, almost none of the information you have given corresponds to the state of Lachesis.
Lachesis is a snake. The feeling of the snakes is I cannot stand on equal footing in a fight for survival, I must use trickery, treachery, backstabbing, to bring my opponents low. They strike from behind, from the side, from a hidden place, and they strike where you are most vulnerable.
Lachesis sees everything as a competition, where they must be the winner at any cost. They will cheat, lie, spread rumors, steal - do anything to win. Only the winner lives, the losers die, and so you must not be a loser.
If they are in love, they will destroy anyone who might get in the way of having that person. They will wish to own them, they will follow them, spy on them, to make sure they are not cheating. Lachesis is SO suspicious, because inside they are cheats and they project this outwards.
Lachesis is one of the most aggressive snakes in the world. They will chase a full grown man and kill him. Their aggression is unusual amongst the snakes. The Lachesis person is equally aggressive. If you hurt them, they will hunt you down for revenge. Nothing will stop them getting even.

As for your answers - they haven't quite given me what I need. I will try to reword the questions.
If you were to experience complete freedom, describe the feeling of it, the experience. Don't limit yourself to your real world experiences, let your imagination go.
Give me an image for trapped not the emotions it provokes. I would like a picture - describe 'trapped' as something you can see or touch.
If you imagine being alone, in your own space, tell me what images come to mind.
Imagine something or someone who is completely free, not yourself. What do you imagine? What do you see?

Thank you for putting up with all this, David, I sincerely appreciate it.
I'll have to concentrate more to try to provide better answers to your questions, and I'll do this within the next 1-2 days.
Based on your description, Lachesis is somewhat unappetising, I agree. But what if I am a treacherous snake inside and don't even know it? I mean, how often do you see a scumbag who says 'yeah, I'm a scumbag alright'?
Just out of curiosity: if I do take the wrong remedy, what's the worst that can happen?
I'll go and look for answers to your questions.
Thank you very, very much.

The wrong remedy can have side effects. Sometimes those side effects graft themselves on to the person's vital force (becoming more or less permanent). I would always try to take only those remedies that at least seem indicated.
Your language is pointing to a specific remedy group - but I must be sure before I prescribe. I don't see Snake-language being used.

spent about 3 hours yesterday night trying to get these answers, but didn't get much, to be frank.
If you were to experience complete freedom, describe the feeling of it, the experience. Don't limit yourself to your real world experiences, let your imagination go.
A lot of cool, not cold, air, of which I breathe more and more, then feel that I have somehow dissolved in white light. I am sure that I am not just surrounded by this light, I am somehow part of it. Also, even though the light is almost unreally bright, it has no heat. Of course, this isn't a real experience, but after a couple of hours of trying to answer your question, this image suddenly came to mind.
Give me an image for trapped not the emotions it provokes. I would like a picture - describe 'trapped' as something you can see or touch.
No visual on this, no pictures come to mind, even though I did try hard. It's just a feeling that I can't breathe, because of which I sometimes feel panic, sometimes depression. Actually, a very prosaic thing can sometimes throw me into panic. If I have flu and my nose is blocked, sometimes I get panicky trying to breathe and then have to tell myself to calm down and breathe through the mouth.
If you imagine being alone, in your own space, tell me what images come to mind.
No images, I don't think/feel in terms of images. When I am alone and I know that the phone isn't going to start ringing with people wanting me to do this or that, I open the window, gradually relax and think about things that interest me. I ask myself questions about these things, look for an answer in my mind and sometimes on Google. If an idea appears that looks interesting, I follow it to see where it leads. Sometimes I jump between apparently unrelated topics, but spending say 20 mins on an unrelated topic refreshes me, then I go back to the main question(s) to which I'd like to know the answer. It can take a long time to get even close. Initially, the only thing available is logical reasoning which I find artificial and tiring. I then still have to try to get closer to the object of interest, to get to the stage where logic isn't needed and I can internalise the object and its behaviour and really see what it is and how it functions.
Imagine something or someone who is completely free, not yourself. What do you imagine? What do you see?
I couldn't get an answer at all to this one, sorry. My mind just went blank.
Thank you.

This is difficult - I cannot seem to coax you past the level of the intellect. So let's try a bypass. It is a great challenge for patients to go underneath their rational mind to the level of the remedy (irrational) - I do find it difficult to faciliate by writing, it is somewhat easier in person.
Tell me about your dreams, especially any reoccurring ones you might have.
My understanding of trapped for you, leads to a sensation of suffocation. What about trying for an image of Suffocating instead?
No idea comes when you think of who or what else in the world is free? Ok then tell me instead, what stops anything from being free?

I'll answer the easier questions. Maybe at some point I'll somehow get answers to the harder ones.
Tell me about your dreams, especially any reoccurring ones you might have.
>That's an easy one. I sleep deeply and rarely have dreams, much less recurring ones. However, I the bright light in the previous post I have seen several times in dreams. Perhaps less than 10 times, at various random points throughout life. When I wake up, I don't remember the dream itself, but I remember seeing this light. There is totally no doubt that it's the same light in all these dreams. It has a very odd quality. On one hand it's much brighter than any other light I have seen in real life, but on the other hand, when I am in this light in the dream it has no heat and feels like something more tangible than just light.
Ok then tell me instead, what stops anything from being free?
> Dullness and lack of energy that brought me to this forum to begin with. When I concentrate and try to sense my body I get tired quickly and lose concentration. Once I get the energy I need, I will follow through with the body and will get to the freedom.
Please bear with me while I try to answer your other questions.

Just a thought...
Today while looking for abchomeopathy.com on Google I saw a link to information on homeopathic vets.
Here I am trying to get answers to some pretty nontrivial questions, but what if I were a goat? I could well have vivid images in my head, but the problem could be communicating these to the homeopathic vet. How would the vet prescribe then? Is it possible to use some of vet techniques to a human being, at least to narrow down a remedy?

Oh, and another thing. You mentioned Vithoulkas, and I looked him up because I didn't know who he was.
Here is what he thinks about constitutional remedies:
http://www.vithoulkas.com/content/view/147/9/lang,en/
Because you already have some idea about what is likely to help in my case, can't we just try one of the remedies you have in mind and go from there? From what I read in the paper above, Vithoulkas did just that, and his patients mentioned in the paper got better after several remedies, even though there was a case of worsening before improving.

Vetinary medicine is mostly done like prescribing for infants and children. You observe their behavior which is mostly uncompensated. You examine them physically.
Adults on the other hand are usually highly compensated - this means they hide or disguise their inner feelings, which have become increasingly complex as they matured from children. The observable behaviour often does not tell you what is going on inside, because it may be the opposite, or even unrelated to the internal feelings.
I prefer to prescribe with as much confidence as I can - making wrong prescriptions shakes people's confidence in both me and in homoeopathy, so I don't usually find it beneficial to make hasty prescriptions.
So my understanding, is that the freedom you crave, is from other's controlling you and telling you what to do. Is that correct? You feel most trapped when someone more powerful than you controls you?
So would I be right in assuming your most free feeling would be to be without any interference or control by others, to be able to go where you want, do what you want, make all the decisons about your life by yourself?
Trapped, Freedom, Caged, Heavy, Light, Air, Control - these are words belonging to the Bird group of remedies in homoeopathy.
The need to be free from the control of others, to go where they want, to decide for themselves how they live - this could be the remedy Falco-pe (Peregrine Falcon). This remedy is one of two bird remedies listed in the rubric 'Imagines he is incorporeal light'.
All the bird remedies are strongly tubercular and so cover the sensation of suffocation as well.

In comparing this basic problem, both the Albatross and Blue Heron also perceive a conflict in their freedom to do what they want go where they want, and what other people make them do. Blue Heron I have seen twice, both patients needed to be independent of others and suffered greatly when someone else ran their lives for them.
Bald eagle is found in the same rubric about being incorporeal light, but the basic feeling of that remedy didn't appear to come through (rising above all the negativity of the world to get an objective view, and travelling between two worlds).
Scarlet macaw has strong feelings of being put in a cage to be admired, but again the basic conflict around freedom for that remedy appears to be lacking here.
So without being able to get any deeper with you, I would guess at Falco-pe.

Thank you for the recommendation. As for 'hasty' prescriptions shaking my faith in you or homeopathy, this is unlikely to happen. Everyone is human, and you have genuinely tried to get a clear picture. If the remedy is incorrect, ah well, this only means that I/we should keep looking for a better match and I should really try to obtain better answers to your questions. I don't have the fear that the wrong remedy will result in life-long consequences for me, and that's not because I don't believe the information given by you, but because God helps out fools all the time.
I'll try the Falco-pe. Please could you indicate potency/frequency?
Thank you.

I would start with LM 0/1 if you can easily get that. Or if not then 30c is fine.
We can discuss how to take it once you get it.

I have LM1 now in the form of a little bottle and am ready for your instructions.
On a lighter note, the homeopath who advised Lachesis said that if Falcon or another bird is my remedy he'll pay me £200. If I get it, we'll split it. :-)

That is a strange thing to say - does he even know that remedy? Does he know the bird remedies at all? That strikes me as a very odd bet to make - no homoeopath knows what remedy will work before they give it. The reality is we can only theorize and guess, until the results prove us right, no matter how sure we might appear. Every homoeopath in practice knows this - we cannot afford to be cocky about it. I never understand that attitude - we all have our failures, many of them - none of us know enough, not ever, and we all continually learn till the day we die.
I have given quite a few bird remedies now with great success - Scarlet Macaw, Peregrine Falcon, Red-tailed Hawk, Blue Heron, Bald Eagle, Raven. Many of those cases I had struggled with using the so-called polycrests, only to get remarkable results with these remedies instead.
This means I am alert for the expressions and language that hints that a patient might need one of those remedies. Does this mean I get it right all the time - no it doesn't. Does this mean I might recognize one of those remedies over a person who has never prescribed them. Yes it does.
What does this mean for you. Well we will see. I am open to the idea that I am wrong, and will continue to work until we get it right.
Do you have a bottle with a dropper to make the remedy?
