Phosphorus: Professional Constitutional Kit #1: First Aid Kit:

The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Perhaps I have been experiencing a Phosphorus proving

The city I was born and raised in and still live has too much Phosphorus in the water. I saw an article in the paper about it recently.

It has been a problem since the early 1950s - so my entire life.

I have been taking phosphorus because of my symptoms.... thinking it was constitutional for me... but now that I find out the water problem has been here my whole life - it got me thinking about how to treat this. I may have been experiencing a proving rather than it being constitutional.

The other problem I have... is that I want to try Natrum Mur as a possible true constitutional remedy... but phophorus antidotes it and the water is full of phophorus....

Any thoughts on this??

1. Can one take phosphorus for too much phosphorus in the water... and also take natrum mur.

2. If so, how far apart should they be taken?

I am finding it confusing that many of the books I have talk about repeated doses of remedies.... and yet today I read something in the forum from January 1, 2005 about a simple antidote to homeopathic aggravation... and how taking multiple doses actually might be acting as an antidote.

3. How does one start from scratch if one has been taking multiple doses and has been antidoting themselves all along?

4. Can I use that water method described in that post to increase the potency to make it more effective that one time...... and then stop at that point?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Keep it simple - dont drink tapwater use bottled spring water.

Dont take any more Phos.

After a time , say two weeks , get some Nat mur 1m and take ONE tablet . Then wait 2/3 weeks to judge results.

Passkey,

The odd thing, is that taking phosphorus makes me feel better.....

I was wondering whether this has something to do with the law of similars...

Also.... the way that others have described taking high potencies of something can help an aggrevation of taking too much of a lower potency.

I am thinking that that's why taking it helped my symptoms immensely.

Now that I understand more about taking just one and waiting.... it makes sense to NOT take another unless symptoms return.... months from now... etc.

I will also wait on adding the natrum mur then... but the store I use has 6c, 12c, and 30c - so is it okay to use one of these instead for the one pellet?

Another one I want to try is Kali Carb. That one I already bought... and was hoping to try it first....

The problem with the natrum mur was that it was antidoted by the phosphorus.... so I didn't know what to do.

Thanks so much. By the way... starting on homeopathy is the BEST thing I have ever done in my life.

Thanks so much for your help. And I appreciated the comment about regular doctors could kill me.... I truly understand now. I think that is probably one of the problems I have had... medications from regular doctors that have been goofing up my body.

By the way.... my husband is now very much for using homeopathy. (I previously posted that he didn't want to spend hardly a penny on this.... that has changed... but he does limit it to have 5 remedies in the apartment at any given time.)

All it took was trying sulphur for his hands, nux vomica for his bowels, and borax for his eyes.

It is nice to have him in my camp when it comes to this!

One more thing....

I am wondering whether my natrum mur symptoms are due to my thyroid med being too high.

The doctor is trying to lower it gradually.

I was on 100 for about 1 year, after starting the homeopathy in March, I had to do a reduction to 88, then 75, and just picked up 50 today.

One of the symptoms I have been having is some crusty sores on my scalp. VERY crusty. And the hair falls out there. I have lost tons of hair lately. The texture has changed, etc.

I believe the homeopathy is attempting to regulate my thyroid - but the meds are goofing it all up.

I have been having terrible flushes - very hot, especially at night. Even my feet are hot!

Night is the worst - at about 8 or 9 pm it starts... and goes on and off - sweating even under my knees lately when I get them... and also under my breasts - anywhere where the skin touches other skin.

It is quite possible that once I get off all the thyroid meds that natrum mur won't be a constitutional remedy for me at all - but that could be months... in the meantime, it might be the right thing to cure the crusty sores on the scalp and reduce the hot flashes.

I do think the constitutionally it would be good for my husband - even though it is usually considered a more female remedy. He did good on the natrum sulphuricum when we tried that one. I think natrum is something he needs.

I am a great believer in trying things out --- BUT -- on an informed basis.

Get J.T.Kent's "Lectures on the materia medica".

Ka;i Carb is a difficult remedy to "read" -- it has lots of dropsies or waterlogged tissue and burning pains.

The symptoms you describe are covered by a number of remedies Tuberculinum, Pulsatilla,Sulphur.

The scabs are covered by Ars, Graph[if stiff sticky fluid], Nat mur , Sul and Psorinum. Read up on the remedies, see what you think.

Thanks.... will look these over....

I DO get burning pains though. And with regard to dropsies... that is something that has been an issue two - with extreme water retention at times.

In addition, my mother, when she got non-hodgkins lymphoma, was loaded with fluid in the sack of the abdomen.... so that is something I have a family history of....

These are all ones I want to read about though... thanks.

:)
