Help for postpartum depression symptoms
Hello. I am searching for some suggestions as to what homeopathic remedies could work for some of my postpartum issues. I have a 4 month old daughter and I find myself feeling very irritable with my hubby and often lonely and sad. Even though I feel lonely, I don't want company or to talk to anyone (friends or family). I feel the desire to shut people out. I am getting enough sleep at night and I truly feel this is more of a mental issue. I also feel I am worrying too much about dying and leaving my daughter all alone. I worry the house will burn down, or we'll get in an accident or someone will break in. I am feeling the anxiety build and I want to ease my thoughts. I have struggled with depression since I was a teenager but I have never wanted to go on medication. I have been in cognitive behavioral therapy and that has significantly helped me. I just want to not feel grouchy and like I'm in a mental fog. I want to be healthy and happy for my daughter. I have also been getting a cramp in my left upper leg almost nightly and I notice it gets worse if I am stressed out. My midwife told me all of these are normal for a new mother but I want to feel better. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you. Melissamelissag1208 on 2012-05-05
