Is ginseng herbal extract good for health?

I had been taking ginseng herbal tablets before a year and had no side effects . I am taking them again now , for my stress relief and recently found that Ginseng is available in homeo too.

which ginseng is the best ?

do large amount of ginseng intake cause serious effects like saw palmetto and others ?

Further question, is should i stop ginseng , i bought them for 50$ :( and only took ten meds so far
