mother/daughter cat, hissing, jealousy v. anxiety, pls help
hi i have three cats, they live in a large, comfortable home with 3 bdms, have access to the outdoors, and generally have a ton of space. a sister and brother (both 6 yrs old), and the mother has one daughter (a 3 yr old).the mother is a very sweet, affectionate cat, but since the baby was born, she's become obviously jealous of her. she usually hisses, spats, and smacks her with her paw when her daughter walks into any room she's in. she used to be more affectionate with me but i feel like she's developed a grudge against me since the baby's birth and because i go away every few months on business (usually for a week and we have 24 hr loving cat sitter). what remedy would help her? she is not manic, does not tear up furniture, is generally sweet, but hisses, spats constantly and seems annoyed and irritable at her daughter. if we go to pick her up, she runs away. she's more affectionate in the early hours of the morning. we're fed up with the tension and tried chamomilla 30c on her today to calm her down. any insight?
her daughter is scared of any noise, any guest that comes into the house she runs and hides, she cowers when the other two come in the room, she seems scared of ANYTHING. she is again the sweetest cat, however, and very affectionate and purrs constantly. i just started aconite 30c on her today. is this appropriate remedy?
we've tried bach flower essences for the past two years, but they haven't worked, we feel like this is a deeper problem. any insight would be much appreciated, i love my cats more than anything. thank you
