The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Constitutional remedy
I'm visiting a professional homeopath. My main complaints are apathy, problems with communication, not being able to enjoy anything, and irritable bowel syndrome (various problems with digestion). The homeopath took my case and found two possible remedies - Sepia and Calc. Carbonica. We tried the Sepia 30C first. My psychical problems worsened for a few days, then I felt incredibly good for 10 days, then it slowly returned to previous state. Physical problems remained the same - no aggravation, no amelioration. So we tried Calc. Carb., it's been three weeks now, and nothing happened. I have read about both the remedies, discussed the matter with the homeopath and I must say both fit me perfectly (the Sepia more).I will of course discuss it again with my homeopath, but I would like to have some opinions or advice from others. Is it possible that the remedy helps the head, but doesn't help the body? I was feeling really good after the Sepia, apathy gone, almost all fears gone, I was happy, but all the problems with my stomach and intestines persisted (I only wasn't whining about it so much : ). It just seems strange...

dear,
if sepia works and then the healing process stops, it does not mean that you try the other remedy, you should hv been taken more dose of sepia 30 or if it does not work more, the method is to take a heigher potency, imean you should try sepia 200.
