Shooting pain in right hand fingers
- Female, 80 years, heart patient, already taking medication for heart and hypertension including blood thinner- Localized Pain in right hand fingers, worse when lying
- cries in pain
- numbness in the tips of fingers
- Can not bend fingers, stiffness in fingers
- occasionally pain extends to forearm muscles and rarely pain extends to whole arm
- No abnormality is seen in Cervical spine study but Reduced bone density noted
- strong pain killers given by the Orthoped do not give any relief in pain
- please help

Dissolve 2 drops in 3 tablespoons water in a cup, stir a few times and drink. Do this every 2 hours for a total 5 times in a day. This is for 1 day only. You should update me tomorrow.

Pain gets unbearable in fingers extending to the wrist if she merely uses her hand for holding the bread when having her food. Pain gets worse after washing the hand i.e when hand gets wet, can not bend or can not stretch fingers. Symptoms Aggravate while lying in the bed approximately after an hour. Pain and stiffness in fingers is worse when she gets up in the morning. Tries to stretch out the bended fingers with the use of left hand. Occasionally, when pain is severe in the fingers, it tends to spread in whole arm. Tips of two middle fingers are effected most.
Pain and stiffness in the fingers is there all the time, as it has been before using Caulophyllum. On the other hand, I think, the frequency in sudden attacks of severe shooting pain has slightly changed. It comes after a longer interval.
Waiting for your further advice.

Dont worry, it will soon come under control. Repeat every 2 hours for a total 5 times in a day for 2 days.

Rhus Tox 30
Buy a small mineral or spring water bottle, around 250 ml in size. Normally you will find it in a convenience store marketed as a kid's mineral water or something.
Empty 25% of water, so that bottle has 75% of water left.
Put 2 drops of the remedy in the bottle.
Give the bottle 8 hits; this is done by holding the bottle in your right hand and hitting the bottom of the bottle against your left hand 8 times. Take out one capful of water and give to your mom. This is one dose.
Give a dose every 1 hour in a day for a total 8 times in a day (8 doses). Do this for ONE DAY ONLY and update me.
Note: If the pain lessens, give a gap or if aggravation happen give a gap.

8th dose of Rhux Tox was administered at 8 p.m. Almost 3 hours of the 8th dose there have been reduction in pain. She could sleep. Pain and numbness is now in the two middle fingers; I have mentioned before that the trouble started from this point. When she woke up this morning, she could not stretch out the fingers. Now fingers are stretched and she can not bend the fingers. Pain that extended in the flesh of whole arm is not there or very little.
What next? Please advise.

Please do 6 doses at 2 hours gap from the same bottle in the same way for ONE MORE DAY only. Pls update me tomorrow.

I reported yesterday about the improvement, that there have been reduction in pain and the numbness was then settled in the two middle fingers, the point from where the very trouble started. This condition of betterment remained for 12-13 hours.
Her symptoms of ailment have now become the same as before I.e. shooting pain in the muscle of whole arm and impossibility of bending her stretched fingers. She could not sleep this night because of the pain. Aggravation started after the restart of the administration Rhus Tox. Only 4 doses have been given, her symptoms of illness aggravated more and more with the administration of each new dose.
So we are back to the same point.
Her symptoms of ailment have now become the same as before I.e. shooting pain in the muscle of whole arm and impossibility of bending her stretched fingers. I have a positive development to report. During this night she complained only twice about the shooting pain in the flesh of her arm. There is numbness in the tips of her fingers, more in the two middle fingers. While washing the hands she used to have a feeling of electric shock initiating from the tips of the fingers to the whole arm. Same happened this morning but was not that severe and lasted for a shorter period as compare to before. This very feeling of electric shock can be compared with the sleeping of the legs when they are not moved for some time.
let's hope that this positive change is permanent, and the remaining symptoms also go away. She had already stopped hoping for any cure from this ailment hers. I and others around her have also been under stress. So much so that my own angina pain started occurring more often.
What do you suggest now to complete the cure, or should we observe her symptoms more for a day or two.

Ok, now as long as the progress holds, we do not dose. As soon as you observe deterioration that does not improve, give her a dose after hitting.

She is not in that miserable condition. She has no shooting pain in her flesh her whole arm anymore. She has slight pain in her four fingers all the time; more in the two middle fingers. Washing hands or holding something like a spoon or 'DOPATTA' often result in pain extending to the wrist of even up to the elbow. It goes away after a while.
She has been given one dose of Rhux Tox day before yesterday and one dose even yesterday.
what one can say that she is much better than before but not completely cured.
