Using your Constitutional Remedy to strengthen & transform
While I am able to wrap my mind around how to use a certain remedy for a certain clear problem (Arsen. alb. for food poisoning, Arnica for trauma, etc.) I am fascinated by the idea (THE ART) of using one's Constitutional Remedy to both strengthen one's body and even transform one's mental outlook for the better. I know we cannot change one's character (nor should we). But it sounds from what I've read that using the Constitutional can "soften" the rougher edges and release a lot of the baggage that is no longer serving one's higher purpose. (If I am wrong about this assumption, please jump in and let me know.)So, my question is once you know your Constitutional Remedy, how do you go about using that remedy as both a preventative (say against the Flu) and overall strengthener?
How often do you repeat it?
What potency should you begin with and what potency should you strive for? (I've had some homeopaths tell me they don't recommend using anything lower than 1M for their Constitutional and others say they only go as high as 200C. Then you have the Anthroposophical Homepoaths who tell me that any potency above 200C can "alter one's karma???"
Are there any homepaths out there who have used this technique to help themselves and their family and would they be willing to share their own experiences of how they do it and how it's worked for them? (I know walkin has mentioned using one's Constitutional for battling the Bird Flu. I'd love to hear from him on what he feels about this.)
I guess my last question is rather esoteric in nature. Do you think that if one practices this specific use of one's Constitutional, they can, in essence, alter themselves for the better and allow permanent, life-changing elements into their psyche that raise their consciousness?
The more I read about this, the more I feel that in the right hands and prescribed correctly, there is brilliant, extraordinary "magic" (in the BEST sense of the word) in this intriguing science.
