External Hemorrhoids
I am a 33 year male suffering from hemorrhoids for the past 6 months. Recently the pain while passing stool has increased immensely and doctor detected external hemorrhoid with a small clot. The pain is unbearable during bm. Can I get a homeopathic remedy for my problem ? I can give more details if required.atinhomeo on 2013-12-25

Among the ones you have listed it is mostly this one along with unbearable pain while passing stools which remains for hours. Problem is I have at least 2-3 bowel movements per day and each time the pain aggravates:
The rectal symptoms are most important. Aching in rectum as if full of broken glass.Anus burns for hours after stool and feels constricted. Dry heat at anus with sudden knife like stitches. Stools must be forced with great effort and thus haemorrhoids too Protrude out. Fissures of anus with great constriction and burning like fire. haemorrhoids too burn and get relieved by cold water.

15 drops in a cup containing an ounce of water, sip one third of it, 15 minutes later sip the next third of it, and 15 minutes later take the last third of it.HALF AN HR BEFORE DINNER. dont repeat.

Thank You for your suggestions Dr. Srivastava. But I live in a small town where only 1 shop sells some common homeo medicines in 30c and 6c potencies. I got Nux Vom 30, neither of the other medicines. I took Nux Vom 30 yesterday night and the stool was of good shape compared to the scrapy stools that I generally get. But the pain is still there. Please help

Please answer the basic questions first e.g.what do you eat daily, do you exercise, what is your job.

I do not do any excersice, but if needed I can start. Please suggest. My work is a mix of sitting in front of pc and some standing. My diet is mostly based on rice but I shifted to brown rice in nights and oatmeal for breakfast since the problem started. Nux vom 30 in night has definitely given some relief but not completely. Intching and pain during and after stool still persits. Also I have problem of gas.

To make sure your hemorrhoids are cured forever, here is what you need to do:
1. Start eating half cup of plain, non-flavored yogurt with live culture. If you have homemade yogurt thatÂ’s the best.
2. Start walking 30-40 minutes a day for 5 days a week.
3. Stop all processed foods e.g. white bread, white rice, white burgers etc.
4. Eat whole foods only i.e. whole grain bread, brown rice etc. The bread should be high in bran content.
5. Start eating a bowl of salad at least once a day e.g. it should contain cucumber, carrots, salad leaves, tomato and any vegetable you like. Put a dressing of olive oil & raw apple cider vinegar and put some salt & black pepper to your liking.
6. Eat at least 1-2 fruits per day e.g. apple, orange etc.
Once you start doing this, report back in a week and then a good homeopathic remedy will complete the cure.

Thank You Mr. fitness. I have started taking precautions as you have mentioned from quite a long time - may be 3 months from now. The steps are as follows:
1. I avoid taking yogurt as I have lactose intolerance.
2.I walk Mon-Fri in morning (to office) for 30 mins since 3 years.
3. I do not take processed foods except for any parties which are rare.
4. As I have already mentioned I take only whole grain bread and brown rice. But actually this episode of pilesstarted when I consumed boiled white rice and potatoes for 10 days (in May) due to some reasons. Since then in spite of a diet change no positive results.
5. I consume cucumber and carrots regularly for past 3 months.
6. I eat an apple everyday since past 3 months.
If you have any other suggestion I can follow. I am taking Nox Vom 30 at night for the past 6 days as suggested by an earlier post. Shall I continue ?

Actually I am intolerant to a wide range of foods. Regarding lactose, sometimes I have bloating after taking diary products. But more severe is if I take cold sweets, cold drinks, cold fruits, when I develop severe bloating, gas and finally diarrhea with lower abdominal cramping.
I had 2-3 bowel movements in the morning and 1 in the evening - daily, mostly scrapy stools with undigested foods sometimes. I need to inform you that after taking Nux Vom 30 for 5 days I have now only 1 good bowel movement but it is hard knotty initially (increasing pain) and then soft.
Let me know if you want to know something else. Anyways, thank you for your interest in my case.
