Hair loss treatment query

Dear Joe,
I just discovered this site and after reading the threads would first like to say thank you for providing such sound and genuine advice on issues which are so dear to us. I admire your spirit if I may say so.
It has been recommended that I use Jaborandi homeopathic hair oil 75% mixed with 25% of Arnica Mother Tincture every night before bed and massage into scalp. I have been consistently losing hair for the last few years and it has become thin all over. I am 56 years of age. Please comment on this treatment which has been given to me by my homeopath.
