Help please 11 week old baby sleeping troubles

Hi

Please can I have some advice? My son is 11 weeks old, I had a bad pregnancy and suffered spd from 16 weeks, had to take some cocodamol during pregnancy, labour was intense on just G&A waters broke with meconium so had to monitor baby, Logan had suspected colic for first few weeks until changed milk to lactose free, sorted it out and he stopped screaming, saw a cranial osteopath who recommended chamomilla, found out he had reflux and was given gaviscon which constipated him, started giving chamomilla after reading several forums and he matched the personality but gave him 3x as and when he kicked off seemed to help
For a while but since birth the longest he had slept is 3 hours in one stint he goes down ok, at 6:30 wakes up at 9:30 has a few oz of his bottle and then wakes every 2 hours not really hungry but whingy, gets worse from 2am and rarely settles , naps aren't great range from 20 min to 40, and fights to go down, seems angry a lot of the time, I need to know what to try, I have sulphur, lycopodium, chamomilla, nux vomica, pulsitilla, please help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Chamomilla should help. Increase potency to 12C and give him once in 6 hours, maximum 4 doses.

Wait and watch for next 3 days and report.

Thank you will have to try and pick some up and report back, so do I give him the pellet? I have been giving granules now, do I give one pellet every 6 hours?

You can either buy liquid form of the remedy and give him 2 drops in a tablespoon of water as one dose.

You can also dissolve 2 pellets in some 20 ml of water and give him a tablespoon out of it.

Avoid giving pellets to him as he may try to swallow it and get choked.

Thank you, could I use 30c as I have that available,

Logging in to observe progress.

Yes, you can give 30C potency once every 6 to 8 hours but only 3 to 4 doses maximum.

If you notice him sleeping better and for longer periods after one or two doses, you don't have to give the rest of the doses.

Thank you, will try starting tomorrow, could you confirm how to give him to dose? 2 or 3 pellets in water?

Take a small clean cup and fill about 20 ml of clean drinking water in it. Dissolve 2 pellets in the water completely and then give him a tablespoon of water from it between his feeds.

Hi, he seems to be a little more settled but daytime naps are still the same and he's still waking every 2 hours in the night, he is also preferring to sleep on his front.

Logansmummy last decade
Don't give any more doses if you have noted a response.

Observe for some days and share with me after a week.

Today he is kicking right off, refusing to settle for naps by screaming and arching his back, he has only had 2 doses of the chamomilla over 36 hours, should I give another dose or has it aggravated him?

Logansmummy last decade
Please help, he's screaming, fighting naps and doesn't want to be picked up or put down, is this his system
Adjusting?

Did he act like this earlier?

Or is it the first time you are seeing him behaving like this?

If this is something that you have not seen earlier, then you must not give any dose. It will get over in some 24 hours. After that he will sleep well.

Wait and watch for 2 days. If he continues like this or increases in restlessness or becomes more irritable, let me know.

rishimba last decade
This is the first day I have ever seen him like this, does this mean the remedy is working? He's gone down ok so far tonight but quite restless is this normal?

Logansmummy last decade
Well, if this is the first time you are seeing him like this, it is evident the remedy has worked and he is undergoing an over-reaction.

Over-reactions subside within a day and then gradually symptoms will get better.

Don't give him any remedy now. Watch him and let me know of his condition every two days.

He slept the best he has ever slept last night but it's still not great will it continue to get better?? Thanks for all your help! X

He will keep on sleeping well as long as the remedy will hold. In case his sleep again goes downhill, give him another dose in the same potency.

Come back here if this potency stopped producing any reaction in him.

Hi, he was back to old sleeping habits last night, restless and waking every 1-2 hours, he's a bit grizzly today too, should
I give another dose of the 30c? I also have camilia boiron if that's any good?

Logansmummy last decade
Before you give him another dose of Chamomilla, let me know something more about him.

-How is his thirst?

-How is his stool? Have you seen any abnormality in his stool?

- How is his general mental make-up? Is he clingy, affection, cuddly or irritable when awake?

-How is his temper? Does he get angry and upset frequently?

- Does he like to be in cold or warm environment?

rishimba last decade
His thirst is no different he doesn't really attack his bottle but he never has, he prefers to be warm, he's quite clingy but angry when put down and sometimes angry when picked up too so can't win, his stools are a greedy colour and play doh consistency

Green colour sorry

Should I give the chamomilla again?

Logansmummy last decade
Yeah, give him one dose of Chamomilla 30C.
