Seeking help for my Mother who has suffered a stroke

Hi! I am 24-years-old, and in good health. My Mother is 53 years old and after pregnancy suffered from high blood pressure and heart disease. She suffered and ischemic stroke to the right side of her brain in 2006 at the age of 45. We ate quite healthy, and she did not smoke, or drink heavily. I was 16 at the time. At the hospital she seemed normal and completely fine, overnight she seemed to have another stroke which left her unresponsive and in the ICU with feeding tube, she remained in the hospital for 2 and a half months. She suffered from seizures for 2 years after she was released which landed her back in the hospital a few times. My father neglected her and she was not given an adequate amount of physical therapy. She currently is doing better, but not good enough to be self-reliant. She can walk with limp, her left side is mostly paralyzed, very low use of left side, she describes a pins and needles feeling on it. And has extremely slurred speech, poor memory, very specific appetite to sweet things, and mood swings. She is currently taking 7 medications in the morning, and 4 medications at night. Although it has been nearly 9 years since she has had a stroke, she is still in poor shape. I am hoping perhaps it is not too late to help her and possibly regain our life. I want to be able to dance with her at my wedding, travel, and make the most of life. I have only recently learned of homeopathy, and I feel it is incredible. Please let me know what I can do for her.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
what are the problems for which she is taking medicines now? she may have to discontinue some or all of them . you will have to describe your mother as to her physical and mental aspects so that. we can visualize what sort of a patient she is. success in treatment depends upon how well the patient is described.

She describes a bad taste in her mouth, and that is why she has no appetite. She is about 5'2, 120 pounds, does not wear glasses, is very very lively. Very social, kind, caring, fun, funny, love to sing and dance. We have no other history of stroke in the family. I am afraid if she doesn't not take any of her current miedicines she could have an episode, or complication. Each of them serves a purpose. I think one is for blood, seizures, constipation, blood pressure.

I feel as if the medications are just maintaining her state not helping her recover, or progress, she is just the same everyday.

your mother is very heavily medicated. I don't think homeopathy can do much for her . you may however invite other opinions to be sure.

Hi-

Is your mother in Miami? Let me know her
location so I can give you options of
face to face treatment.

How are you doing on the other thread?

Regards,

Simone

Would she be willing to see a
homeopath face to face?

There are a lot of good homeopaths in that area. Her case is very complex and she
has to be monitored as to her
medications and what can be
reduced safely etc.
