Severe hiccups

Dear doctors
My father is 76 years old. Doctors cut some parts of his large intestine due to Metastasis 10 years a go.
He has kidney stone which is about 7 mm.
He has poor appetite.
He has sometimes constipation or diarrhea.
Now he has problem with hiccups since last week.
Is there any homeopathic remedy that can help him?

Please give him Carbo Veg 30 twice a day for 3 days. Nux Vomica 30 may be tried later if carbo veg doesn't work.
