Constipation of my mom

this is for my mom who doesnot have clear stool . she has to give pressure to pass the stool. after passing the stool he feels pain around anus as she used to suffer with pileslong ago . she have very scanty stool at a time and very very sticky......pls suggest me what should i use...she is having aurvedic medicine but with no improvement.......any laxative should i use if yes suggest me
