swelling and severe pain of gums

I am rajeshbabu(40) suffering with swelling and severe pain of gums and teeth from the last one(1) day. I thought it is because of infection in the gums. can I take mercurius vivas 30.Please respond

You might have observed that there are around ten medicines which cover both the symptoms.

To select, one out of those ten remedies, you need to give more details.

Did it develop suddenly? Are there any external factors to cause it? Like exposure to cold etc..

What makes the pain less? What makes it more?

Is this the first time you are getting it?

Did you visit a dentist? What did he say?

Swelling pain of gums develop suddenly and earlier also came i consulted Dr,he has given oflaxacin and antibiotic. Pain less when i am rest and more when i press

Homeopathic remedies are selected based on your way you react to stimuli.

For example, your pain amel. cold water narrows down the choice.

Think of anything else which decreases the pain/ increases the pain.
