Dog miserable with seasonal allergies and hip dysplasia

Hi,
My dog has had several health issues since she was a puppy. One being hip dysplasia that is now causing a great deal of stress in her knees and lower back. She gets regular Chiropractic visits, is a on a very healthy raw diet and gets herbal anti-inflammatories. But she is still in pain and hesitant to exercise. In addition, every spring, she has seasonally allergies. So she scratches and chews a lot, which causes more stress in her hips and back. She chews her skin on her belly, groin, mouth and feet and seems especially itchy right at her belly button. I have tried Histaminium, Sulphur and a few mixed allergy formulas over the years but none have made significant improvements for her. Any suggests for both the hip pain and severe itching?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
NAT MUR 6X AND CALC FLOUR 6X FIVE TABS OF EACH THREE TIMES A DAY.

FEEDBACK AFTER 7 DAYS.

Mayasmama: have you brought these continued afflictions to the notice of the person who told you it was "dysplasia"",...,... ?
What's dysplasia BTW?

vishnu4 4 years ago
In dogs, hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket that, in its more severe form, can eventually cause crippling lameness and painful arthritis of the joints. It is a genetic (polygenic) trait that is affected by environmental factors. It is common in many dog breeds, particularly the larger breeds, and is the most common single cause of arthritis of the hips.

Thank you for your quick response. I have CALC FLUOR on hand but it is 30x. Would the dosage be different? Or is it important to find 6x?

tui: I have not come across even a single homeo helper on ABC who ever said he did not understand a complex allopathy technical term. In fact experts of ABC have given solutions within minutes of new threads for decades-long afflictions. I wonder if they are so good allopathic doctors what are they doing here on ABC. I don't think many of these experts are even literate.
Both sufferers as well as helpers are responsible for a real bad condition of ABC.
There should be a discussion.

Vishnu4 and Rahul 2018 and many other names that you've used here.

If you have ever studied or went to a homeopathy College, the allopathic technical terms are not complex at all and homeopaths MUST have the basic knowledge about pathology otherwise how do you practice homeopathy without understanding of the basic anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology?

Which books are you using for prescribing? And what books have you read so far?

If you have ever read Hahnemann’s chronic diseases, Clarke’s materia medica, Hering’s guiding symptoms, or Boger or Phatak or Allen’s keynotes, and may other classic one's, or you may even use Boericke, then you must know that there are FULL of ’complex allopathic technical terms”
because you know why?
Because all of them were DOCTORS (MD)! but they were homeopaths. And many of them were converted from allopaths to homeopaths.

It is not the forum’s problem because you don't understand those medical terms.

It's YOU who are having a problem.

tui:
1. If your knowledge is so deep as you claim it has not reflected in your posts.
2. Will you please give page numbers from Clarke, Hering, Allen where this term "dysplasia"has been described?
You could take a snap of the page and upload.
3. You are also making simple query from me personal like your friends anuj and freehomeo. This only reflects lack of knowledge. Only layman behaves like this. You, anuj and freehomeo belong to this class only.
Someone should have been questioning your "wisdom" and that would have helped you improve your knowledge.
4. Pls make a list of all cases that you took on ABC so far and tell the world how good you are.

Again, there is nothing ’deep’ about what I said in the post and there is no such thing as ’wisdom’

It just a simple fact and a very basic knowledge that we all learned at homeo college.

And I'm sure you can find the term ’dysplasia’ as you know everything.

Also, people can see all my posts by simply clicking the name.

Tui: Only you brought in "Hahnemann’s chronic diseases, Clarke’s materia medica, Hering’s guiding symptoms, or Boger or Phatak or Allen’s keynotes, and may other classic one's, or you may even use Boericke," perhaps to brag how well educated you are.
Please indicate page numbers that I asked.

I've never said the term ’Dysplasia’ is written or mentioned in Hahnemann’s chronic disease or Hering’s or Boger’s or Phatak or Allen’s or Boericke or Clarke.

In fact, Dysplasia is a broad term that refers to the abnormal development of cells within tissues or organs. It can lead to a wide range of conditions that involve enlarged tissue or organs.
So you won't find ’Dysplasia’ in the classic books, instead, it is described and written with different terminology.
Now you know where to look and what to look in repertory and materia medica. You know everything so I don't have to provide page numbers for you.

Also, the books that I mentioned are the minimum requirement for studying homeopathy at homeo college so there are absolutely nothing to brag about as everybody study and use them in daily practice.

Vishnu,
You have had ample chance to say something kind and / or helpful to someone. Instead, your tone has been persistently unpleasant and confrontational. I believe the forum would be better without your input and I have discontinued your membership.

Regards,
Simon

Update: My dog has been on Nat Mur 30x and Calc Fluor 30x for a week. Her itching has lessened by 75%, her skin is clearing up and her anxiety from the itching has gone. However, today she seems very lethargic and depressed. Doesn’t seem to feel good at all. We took her for a walk to see if her mobility has improved. That issue seems about the same. She starts out walking ok, but wears out quickly and can barely make it back to the house. Once she reaches the point of exhaustion, she moves very slowly. Can’t tell if it is pain, weakness or both.

Hi,

Wait for Anuj. It could be she is aggravating
From the remedy and needs to stop taking
For awhile.

simone717 4 years ago
STOP THE REMEDIES AND GIVE A FEEDBACK AFTER 3 DAYS.

anuj srivastava 4 years ago
Ok, thank you. I had cut back to two doses of each yesterday. This morning she seems a bit perkier but is itchy again. So I did give her a dose of Nat Mur this morning. But will stop both remedies now and report back.

Mayasmama 4 years ago
Anuj,
3 day update: She has seemed much better since stopping both remedies. She has been calm and her pain level seems typical for her. She had been itching very little until last night. She suddenly got very itchy and anxious. I went ahead and gave her a dose of Nat Mur. She calmed down quickly and slept through the night. What do you advise for continued treatment?

Mayasmama 4 years ago
Wait and observe when ever she becomes itchy give a dose of NM.Keep giving updates .

I would also recommend Silicea 6x and Calc Flour 6x be started for the hip problem.BUY THE CELL SALTS.

anuj srivastava 4 years ago
Ok, how often should I give those two?

Mayasmama 4 years ago
FIVE TABS OF EACH THREE TIMES A DAY FOR A MONTH OR SO.
