HIRSUTISM in a teenager- please help
Learned members,My 15 yearold daughter has Idiopathic Hirsutism ( Hirsutism caused by no underlying disorders such as PCOS and such) This is because unfortunately she takes after me- I have always had facial hair ever since I remember (taking after my female ancestors)I have learnt to accept it and go on, but I don't want her to go through what I did.
Any help/remedy/suggestions offered by you learned members will be greatly appreciated.
A little about her.
She is 15 years, tall for her age, very good disposition, dark and TANS WITHIN SECONDS OF BEING IN HOT SUMMER SUN. It shocks me at the transformation! She started her period when she was 14 years old, was not regular in the beginning, but now she is becoming regular.
If you need any other details about her constitution, I will supply, but I feel very sad for her, she is very outgoing and helpful and people are noticing and I am reminded of the stares I would get growing up- it is very traumatic.
PLEASE HELP, before it is too late for her and has to go through the drug route, like DIANETTE and such, which carry serious side effects. I read the archives of this forum and discovered Oleum Jecoris Aselli 6x as one of the remedies. I consulted a Homeopath for myself who said that it is indeed too late for me but still gave me a remedy (he didn't reveal the name)It didn't help, he gave my daughter a remedy too which didn't help her either.
Thank you for reading a desperate mother's ramblings, but please do suggest something for my child.
Thank you for your anticipated replies!
Sincerely,
Usha

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Oleum Jecoris Aselli is cod liver oil or simply fish oil.

Respected Sir,
Is Carcinocin a remedy for preventing tanning and hirsutism (which is my prime concern) or just the former only.
Please advice- also if I cannot get the strength i.e 1m at my local store is the potency of 30 m acceptable?
Thank you for your reply.
Sincerely,
Usha

"Is Carcinocin a remedy for preventing tanning and hirsutism" ??
Homeopathy does not work this way.
Carcinocin fits on people who tan easily and those people has cancer miasm or in other words they are closer to cancer. Your daughter's case as well your case is a classic carcinocin case. Also check if your family has any cancer history??
In case you are unable to obtain 1M potency, you can use 30. I suggest you must use Carcinocin even if it may not cure a specific problem.

sir,
Thank you for your concern. There is NO CANCER in our immediate family (at least skin cancer) so is Carcinocin still an appropriate remedy? Does it pose any danger for my daughter? Also please advice on dosage of Carcinocin 30M potency, because that is the only one available at my store. Should I start her once summer begins or start now itself? Is once a week a suitable dose?
Thank you for all your patience in advising a novice.

Usha

Mr.Kuldeep and Mr.Stanton,
Thank you for your replies. But I must confess that I am still confused about what to do and how to proceed. Also not to forget my original quest for a remedy for Hirsutism was not yet fulfilled. I am a novice at Homeopathy but I have faith in it.
Mr.Kuldeep when you mentioned Nux vomica it reminded me that this same girl was cured of bedwetting with just one dose of Nux Vomica30 some 9 to 10 years back. Can you please advice if I should still give her Carcinocin? Also should I give her the Oleum Jecoris Aselli as suggested in a long time back query to combat Hirsutism on the face.
I would like to request members who have had success treating Hirsutism with Oleum Jecoris Aselli or any other Homeopathic remedy to please advice me as to the best course to follow.
Thank you for your patience and your anticipated help.
Sincerely,
Usha

As I suggested, you and your daughter should take 3 doses of Carcinocin 1M 10 minutes apart.
Repeat it once after each alternate week. (Three doses 10 minutes apart) for two months.
I doubt if Oleum Jecoris Aselli would work. But you can try that too in lowest available potency.

Thank you so much Mr.Kuldeep!
So, this is how it goes........ Carcinocin 1M give her (take it myself) 3 doses each at the end of a 10 minute interval for one day. Skip a week and repeat on the same day next week and continue for two months. So that will make it a total of 4 times(weeks) worth of 3 doses.
Can you please let me know if I got it right? You could also suggest how much of the remedy should be dispensed.
Thank you as always for your patience and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Usha
