Experience with hospitals
Hi, this post isn’t necessarily about symptoms. My 5 year old daughter is currently seeing a homeopath for kidney stones in her left kidney. We have been given one of narayania mixes to take for 21 days. She had an appointment yesterday at the hospital and has planned treatment planned for mid feb to remove the stones. I advised the consultant we had been seeing a homeopathic consultant to treat the kidney stones and it didn’t go down very well, she looked at me like I had 2 heads and was from another planet!
I asked if my daughter could have another ultrasound before the treatment to see if the stones had reduced in size etc... after telling me it was a waste of nhs resources she reluctantly agreed.
Does anyone have any experience with dealing with consultants and going down the homeopathy route. I felt totally deflated after my appointment yesterday. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

The largest sone is 13mm which is located in the lower pole region of the kidney. There was also a cluster of stones at the renal pelvis, the largest being 9.5mm. She doesn’t have any symptoms other than her left kidney is slightly enlarged which was picked up when she was a baby. She’s been taking kbs mix 21 for 3 weeks and is sue to come to the end of this.
