Overdosing and Aggravations.

Im trying to learn a few things in homeopathy. I dont seem to get aggravations part properly now.

When the remedy is overdosed, it is supposed to aggravate the remedy symptoms in the patient (also called proving).

- Do such aggravations (provings) that are induced via remedy overdose (than actual proving) last permanently or they go away on their own with time?

- Is proving via low potency high duration drug proving symptoms heal on their own better or high potency low duration drug proving symptoms heal better?

Thank You.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
First off, it’s not better if you prove a remedy - it just means /remedy is wrong/ too many doses/ potency is wrong. So you wait… then see if improvement comes after proving-that means the remedy is correct and you then adjust the doses or the potency.
I follow retired Dr Luc de Schepper dosing-he tries one dose of 30c and waits for a day- if there is a reaction good or bad (aggravation) again wait to see how long it lasts before taking another dose-if aggravation wait to see improvement/if no improvement remedy is wrong. if nothing happens from one dose then try a 200c-if nothing happens again remedy is not right.
Also most proving /aggravations leave in a day or two. If not leaving then antidote. If antidote not working then all old and new symptoms are needed to find another remedy that covers all. Often I find getting a acupressure or shiatsu massage(you wear clothes they work the spine) clears out remedy effects-especially nat mur.
