My doctor prescribed sulphur LM potency for skin disease- pls help

I’ve been suffering because of my skin disease since 2 years. I’ve been taking sulphur 0/1 since 2 months and can see VERY slowwwww improvement. Since a week my doctor has increased it to 0/2 and the improvement is a bit better but still slow. Please help me.. does increasing the potency make it work faster? Does lower potencies only help for skin diseases? Or we can increase potency in skin disease? Can we only increase potency gradually like 0/1, 0/2 etc or can be go from 0/1 to 0/3?

Ps- the skin disease is a rare type of chronic erythema Nodosum and it is on my face that is why I want it to heal fast.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

LM dosing is used when you need repeated doses of a remedy and repeating doses of C potency is not going to work as well bc they will cause aggravation. The fact that you are improving slowly is good. LM dosing is complex and follow your homeopath advice. Skin issues can take a long time to cure.

Sulphur is a very powerful and fast acting remedy, since you are only seeing slight results in my opinion it means it is the wrong remedy.

Thankyou for your response. I can understand why you may think that it’s not the right remedy. However over the past 2 years I have taken quite a lot of other homeopathic remedies like Arsenic alb, mezereum, graphites, sepia, apis mel, radium brom etc but there was NO difference. With this sulphur LM potency im seeing a difference every single day but the difference is very small. So in my opinion I don’t think the remedy is the issue but the potency may be too low. There wasn’t much info on the internet regarding LM potency so I was wondering how it works. If you know anything about it can you pls share.

Lm is not a weak potency at all, for sulph it is very strong.

Did you ever try Merc Sol 30?

Yes I have. I have tried Merc sol, rhus tox, lycopodium, thuja, silicea as well.

I never said that LM potency is weak. Infact I’m seeing improvement so I think the opposite. But LM potency also has different dilutions like 0/1 0/2 0/3 etc. I wanted to know how that works and if it has any more effect with increasing dilutions.

Also I have seen some skin diseases take more than 6 months to reach full cure so I don’t think this is bad progress. Even if it’s slow as long as I’m seeing improvement I’m not inclined to change the remedy.

You should also look at others Sul derivates like kalium sulph 200ch

LM dosing requires study bc you go up the scale and use the one potency until aggravation and then move to the next. That’s what some homeopaths say-but look at the literature on this- It’s complicated and you won’t find someone on here who is knowledgeable about LM procedures. It’s not at all like using other potencies.

I used Lm potencies, the problem was not the aggravation but the body is no longer responding to that potency (they do not act like ch or d). In most cases that Ive seen max 2 weeks and then they stop.

Oh is it? I’ve been seeing a very slow but constant improvement almost everyother day. Whereas all other remedies which I took in the past (all in C potency) did not work on my skin though they were helpful in other problems.

It will fail eventually. That is my opinion from what I have seen in practice.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. But I have first handedly seen my neighbours eczema get cured with LM potency. There is probably a way to prescribe it.

Hello, I just wanted to inform you that I had been taking sulphur in gradually increasing dilutions (0/1, 0/2, 0/3 and so on) in LM potencies and after sulphur 0/4 I had started to see a drastic change day by day and now I’m on sulphur 0/5 and my skin disease is 99% cured. I can’t express the joy I’m feeling. Homeopathy is a miracle and my belief is set in stone now. I wanted to inform you so that it might help you somewhere in your practice. Thanks for conversing with me when I needed it ð
