Eczma in Infant

Hello,

My daughter just turned 4 months old, and has pretty severe Eczema. It is the worst around her elbow, wrist, ankle and knee joints, in the creases, but also extends to her arms, legs and torso. Her cheeks are also affected, though not as badly. We have tried lotions, creams, lightweight breathable clothing, etc with little to no improvement. I would really like to try something homeopathic, before resorting to traditional medication. Also, I know that sometimes its exacerbated by allergies. My husbands family has a history of severe allergies, to food and enviornment. Could this be part of the problem? Any suggestions are appreciated. I have read through some of the other posts about this, but want to make sure whatever we try has been used safely in babies.

Any homeopathic remedy can safely be used on babies.... but if you are breast feeding then it is best if YOU take the remedy a couple of hours before a feed.

This problem most often arises after vaccination. If she has been vaccinated dont have any more jabs-- just make the matter worse.

The more jabs Doctors give the more money they get so be prepared to resist pressure on that point!.

If she is a hot baby who throws bedcloths off use Sulfur 30c. Once a day for a week.

I forgot to say that she was vac';d at the hospital when she was born, but will not be recieving any more. On top of the Eczema, I found out that my hubby's family has a history of severe reactions (up to death) to the standard vaccines. The doc tried to reasure us that they have changed dramatically in the past years, but its still not enough for me to chance it. So I was almost relieved there as it really cut down on the arument with her Doctor.
