Consider this as a LAST opinion if nothing else works.

Take Lac caninum 200 one dose in previous night and take Arnica CM dose next morning. This combination helps in negating ill-effects of head injury permanently.

keep going on the arnica and nat sulph. Things should improve slowly - do not expect too much too soon, just keep an eye on things and go back to the doctor if this continues too much.

I cannot understand the reason why the patient has not been given Arnica 30 which the husband states he has.

This is best taken in the wet dose which is made by inserting 3 pellets into a 500ml bottle of spring water and a teaspoonful is a dose which is taken after the bottle is shaken hard every time 3 times daily.

Can you make a date wise list of meds you have given with potencies.

Stop all other medicines and give her Nux.vomica ,not less than 30C, twice daily ,for a couple of days.

I am glad that she is recovering. Her nerves are still in a fret, and Nux.v will help her.

If you give Nux Vomica at this stage ... as per my analysis you run the risk of reversing the benefits that Arnica and Nat. Sulph. have given to your wife.

Nux Vomica anti-dotes benefit of many medicines.When benefit is taking place...such an advice on part of the one who is suggesting indicates lack of knowledge.

It doesn't matter,even if Arnica and Nat.sulph are antidoted now. They did their job.

Nux.vomica helps to calm the nerves, which is the 'present picture' to be attended to.

There is no harm in trying it out. It will do all the good it can.

For acute problems remedies have to be changed frequently, as the 'picture' keep on changing.

The medicine that suits the 'present' picture is to be selected.

I gave my analysis before...in earlier posts.

Medicine is not to be changed until it is giving benefit.

To give further benefit..we will move to a higher potency when 200 potency of Arnica stops to give benefit.

Arnica soothes the nerves too... no need to change a medicine just for soothing the nerves.

You are suggesting Nux Vomica arbitrarily...without taking a re-assessment of the case (fresh case taking) ...which needs to be done at the time of a change of medicine.

Which other symptoms have you considered for suggesting Nux Vomica...none!! Where is the totality of the picture that you have been lecturing about ????????????

I don't think it is a mistake on your part....it is a delibrate attempt to mislead.

I am perhaps closest to Mr.Murthy on this forum.But in this case, as a homeopath, i think you should stick with Arnica and Nat Sulph.In a few days, she will be all right.If she does not improve further, then we may try other remedies which may be Nux Vomica too.

I think we should wait for a couple of days before suggesting a change of remedies.Both Arnica and Nat Sulph are empirically most useful in such cases and they have shown their utility here.Besides, Nat Sulph was not even tried in a higher potency as suggested.I think the various potencies of Arnica and Nat Sulph should be exhausted before switching to any other remedy.Again my opinion only.

The modality of aggravation from noise, coupled with the location of back side of head,and the sensation of headache makes Nux.v the probable remedy.

Arnica is useful in the initial stages of the shock.It can't help forever.

I always welcome discussions on points.

Arnica has been tried long enough. Nat.sulph in 6X won't help much.

There is no harm in trying Nux.v at this stage.

Any way,may be he can continue Arnica and Nat.sulph for a day more, and try Nux.v, if the condition doesn't improve.

Dear Mr.Murthy,

The symptom profile for which you suggested Nux is perfectly clear to me.But here, it being an etiologica case (accident), perhaps we should give chance to Arnica till it keeps helping.May be a dose of Arnica in a higher potency.Specially, since the patient is improving.Because, for all we know, tomorrow or day after she may lose the sensitivity to sound etc.If she had been given Nat Sulph 200, i am sure in 2 days she would have been perfectly allright.
