Burning pain

Hi

I have pretty strange problem. I've had this very annoying burning sensation/pain in different parts of the body for some weeks now. It's in the limbs, face, neck, almost everywhere, it changes places, comes and goes. It all started when I tried one herbal supplement a few weeks ago for a few days.

Now my doctor examined me thoroughly and she said that my liver is in a toxic state! There is some problem with my liver, it cant handle some chemicals as it should and my doctor took a blood sample to see what exactly is the problem there. She said that this is not dangerous but it is very unpleasant. Because the stressed liver, some neurotoxins have had access to different parts of the body and its them that are causing this annyoing burning. So she gave me some supplements to heal the liver and I started taking them. But the problem is, those products dont really help with the burning. I'd really need some acute help with that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

BF

Dear Barton, what was the herbal supplement taken?

Hi

The ingredients of the herbal product (for chronic fatigue) that I took are: Cordyceps, Maitake, and Shi take, concentrated Acetylated Mannans, Beta Glucans chain, Tragacanth Gum Powder (Astragalus gummifier), Glucosamine sulfate, Arabinogalactin (Larix Desidua), aloe vera Extract 200:1, Anogeissus latifolia, Cyamopis Tetragonolaba, Native Rice Starch.

Deoshlok, I will answer those questions later today.

Okay, well the only substance I can see from the ingredients which could possibly be responsible for the burning sensations you are experiencing, would be the Aloe Vera, which is in quite a concentrated form, although I have no idea how much this would equate to daily. You may want to find a very low potency of this substance, a 1 or 2x, take just once, and see if this provides relief.

I would also warn against taking any deep acting remedies until this situation has resolved, which if incorrectly prescribed, will just pile on more and more layers. Such actions would also of course go against proper prescribing, which should always be directed at removing the current layer first, not 'probing around underneath.'

The best of luck.

Thanks Jacob

Yeah I think it might be that aloe vera, too. I guess my liver couldn't handle it.

Low potency, do you mean like a homeopathic aloe vera product? 1-2x? I'm not familiar with this stuff.

The doctor (a very good one btw, she knows everything about the chinese medicine and herbs) gave me Glutathione (+ some other amino acids), n-acetyl-l-cysteine and milk thistle to help the liver. Hopefully they will work.

Yes, the first or second Homoeopathic decimal potency. Inhale this by olfaction though (order a liquid potency), as you do not want any more of the substance in your system, although the amount ingested would still only be very minimal.

And yes, Aloe Vera in crude form, despite being touted as a 'cure all' by the so called 'Alternative Health' community, can actually be quite toxic to the liver for many people.

Good luck :)

Btw, since this probably is poisoning situation that I'm having here, is there any specific homeopathic remedy for that?

Thanks
