Hole in eyelide after Chalazion surgery, please help me
Hi there I found this forum after having second surgery in a week to remove a Chalazion and saw that some people on here had success in healing.I had a lump or what the Dr called a Chalazion in my eyelid for 4 months. Last week the Dr removed it after freezing and it was very painful when I got home but I dealt with it. I went back in a week for a check up and the DR told me another had grown back.
To my horror he told me he would remove it again then and gave me freezing, my eye swelled up and I kept screaming from the pain, I think from the clamps he was using to hold my eye lids. After two days he took the bandage off and there is a big hole in my eyelid where he said he had to cut it away and he wanted to sew it up today but I was too scared because of the previous experience, also he said there is a chance for it to grow back.
Has anyone out there had this experience? Is it normal to have a hold in your eyelid so much so you can see out of it like a 3rd eye? I am really scared and really want to try and help it grow back naturally. Can anyone suggest anything?
I am a visitor waiting for perm residency here in Canada and cannot afford to see lots of DR's.
Please help me.
