Spots on throat
For the past month and a half Ive had this horrific looking throat, red with acouple white spots. Ive taken a zpack and a 10 day course of amoxixillin with no results..Surprisingly enough it is not sore. Occasional bit of a runny nose, cough once in awhile. Lungs appear to be clear although I sleep with a heat pad on my chest due to the fact they feel 'heavy'. Feels like I need to clear my throat which i cant seem to get anything up or down...feels like a 'hairball' is stuck back there. Have been told by one doctor I may be a carrier of strep? Is this possible...? Ive never tested positive for it. Am not spraying throat with coloidal silver and taking it. Any ideas on this....the only thing thats changed in my life is a flu shot the week before I came down with this and a new job which involves cleaning products.moira on 2006-12-29
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Im not sure whether you may have strep throat, it is meant to start clearing up around 48 hours after taking a course of amoxillin. Maybe you should consult another gp for a second opinion.
I also got the flu shot for and my nose basically has not stopped running since. That was in June 2006. I do not recommend it to anyone.
If you are using cleaining products this definantly will affect your chest. Wear a face mask if possible to reduce the risk of inhaling the harsh chemicals.
