Heel pain

Please anybody help me. I am suffering from heel pain in right leg from 2001. when i consulted a famous orthopaedic surgeon he told it is achellis tendon caused due to over exercise in gym. So he gave me a steroid injection locally to the heel. It had relieved me for one month but again the pain recurred. Whenever i stand for a long time or whenever i walk for a long distance the pain increases. It extends till the backside of my right knee. There was no injury for my ankle. I used to go to gym and exercise for 7 years. Now i am 37yrs old.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Do an X ray of Rt Anke Joint and see whether there is calcaneal spur or not ??

In case of pian in Archilles Tendon it is called Calcaneal Burstitis.

Plz confirm your diagnosis. Then i will be able to help you out.
