TMJ, irritability and stress
Please help me, i appreciate any help or information you can give me!I am a 31 year old woman. I have been very irritable lately, mostly with my husband (poor man!) and occassionally with my son.
I am quitting smoking but i was irritable before this, though less frequent. I have a lot of restless energy, occassional breakouts of acne.
I am 5'3 and 105lbs, lately I have not had too much of an appetite during the day but i do want to pick at food in the late night and i will even wake up to eat something sweet. I have lessened my caffine intake from coffee, drinking only one small cup now but I am drinking more green tea.I tend to eat alot of spinach and lentils, tomato and pasta- i do not usually crave sweet things, although lately i have been.
I practice yoga regularly and since quitting smoking have had a lot of nervous energy that i try to keep physical and do balance excercises to calm.
I have TMJ symptoms horribly painful one week before my menses that last for one week. I notice that this problem is heavily connected to my menses and have tried acupuncture, which helps a bit.
I am most concerned, right now, about the irritability and sporadic negativity because i am not appreciative of the love and support of my husband and tend to lash out at him unprovoked. i tend to stress very easily about trivial things and get nervous and suspicious unnecessarily. thank you for any help you can give- you may save a marriage!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
please take SEPIA 200C one dose every 2 to 3 days.
after one week, observe the changes in your behaviour and come back.
if the changes are positive, a higher potency may be prescribed for long term relief else an alternate prescription may be given on further study.

sepia 30c will not work on your mentals.
you need to take sepia 200c and finally sepia 1m.
please buy the stuff.

ok. thanks so much for your help. i have ordered the sepia 200c, in the mean time i can take the 30 3times a day or take nothing until it arrives?
also, how should i take the sepia 200c. i have heard that there should be no caffine at all in diet (i do have 1 cup of coffee in am and drink green tea- do i have to stop?) and as well should have no acidity intake- this seems nearly impossible. is this necessary or do i need only to not eat/drink 1 hour before/after.
Thank you so much for your help- i will let you know when i begin.
you are very helpful and i appreciate so much!

your problems are predominantly mental and so i would advise you to wait till the 200c arrives.
however, the benifit from 30c would be short lived and you would be hardly noticed by you.
yes, there are some restrictions on diet. you can have green tea but its better to avoid coffee for some days. also avoid excess of sour, sweet, garlic or anything which has a sharp smell or taste.
i am sure its known to you that you have to take the doses in empty stomach early in the morning. do not take any food or water at least one hour after taking the doses.

well, i already had taken the sepia 30c dose before reading your post, but 200c is on it's way.
in the meantime, i have (tonight) broken out in small itchy spots and one very large, itchy spot that the pharmacist says is hives. the only thing i can think that is new to my body is the sepia 30c. i have never had an allergic reaction to anything before. i have stopped the sepia 30c, but the 200c should arrive tomarrow. should i take this or stop the sepia altogether? could it be the particular brand that caused the outbreak?

this may be connected to SEPIA but i am not sure.
but, one dose of SEPIA 30C generally does not result in a proving.
however, stop taking 30c potency and take just one dose of sepia 200c when it arrives.
note all your mentals and physicals.
if you feel, you are comfortable, then take the next dose.

yes i do not think it was the sepia, because i had stopped taking it and the itchy spots continued. i will wait and take the 200c when it arrives. thanks so much. in the mean time, what can i do for the itchy spots?

without understanding the modalities of the itch, its not possible to recommend a remedy, however, most of the itchy sensations are covered by sulphur.
for the itchy spots, you can take SULPHUR 200C three doses on a single day at 4 hours interval.
thats all.
the itch should be reduced.

dr rishimba- i tried the sepia 200c and so far i have really been in very good spirits. i feel very content in the last few days and this has been very nice for me and my family. how long should i continue this?
thank you too much, this is very helpful and i hope this continues to lessen my irritability.

if you feel your mentals have improved significantly, you should just take it once in a week for some three weeks.
if you ever get the irritability anytime in the future, you can either go for the same potency or go a step higher and take one dose of sepia 1m potency once a week for three weeks.
