Heel Pain
I am a Government servant.I developed pain in my heels in 2006.
Initially in the year 2005 (I was posted in Male, capital of Maldives) I used to have pain only in the morning when I used to get up and after sometime the pain used to vanish.
At present I am posted in Geneva, Switzerland. I came to Geneva in Jan 2006 and initially I had no symptoms of heel pain.
In the next year in January 2007 I met Doctor who advised me to use rubber pads under my heels which I did. Even after using pads, there was no improvement.
In April 2007 Doctor advised to go for physio sessions.
When I had no improvement in my heel pain, in May 2007, Doctor gave me injections in both heels. Doctor advised me not to run/jump/over exert for at least 3 months.
After 4-5 months i.e. November 2008, I felt relief in my heel pain and started exercise.
It was in January 2008 when I was playing volleyball (my first day to play the same)and I had just played for 5 minutes, I had a severe pain in my left heel because of stretch of something in my heel.
I consulted Doctor and he, after checking, told that there is swelling (muscle inflamation). He advised me not to walk much or over exert and told in case my pain still remains the same he would again refer me for physio or give me injections.
I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF I AM TOLD ABOUT THE EXACT REASONS OF MY PROBLEMS OR SOME PERMANENT SOLUTIONS OR MEDICATIOIN FOR THIS HEEL PAIIN.

Arnica is good please try first it and report after a week.
I would also suggest you to put Arnica Q-20 drops in 10 ml oliv oil and have a light message at night
