Baby sleep
My son is almost 16 weeks old he had reflux from week two until about week nine and is now on Ranitidine- he sleeps fairly well at night from 8- 4 with one wake up and then from 4-8 in bed. But will not sleep in bed during the day at all. he has recently taken to only sleeping during the day in a front pack1. He is very alert during the day and when in a new situation stares and becomes even more alert. After new experiences he is usually very tired.
3. He slept vey well at any time and anywhere for the first two weeks this has only occurred since the reflux started
5. When he does nap it is usually in my arms and only after nursing. He needs motion to go to sleep eg the car bouncing in his hammock or being in the front pack. recently he needs nursing as well.
7. Cam is sensitive to loud noises, suprises, bright lights, new situations,
8. he has recently become fairly clingy to Mum and Dad and is noticably better after prolonged physical contact. He does not like being alone even if this is just in a stroller or car seat.
he gets sweaty quite easily but this does not bother him. He loves nursing.

Ranitidine is not a proper long term solution for the little one.
please taper off ranitidine and if the symptoms persist, you may give him CALC PHOS 12C thrice a day for 2 to 3 days or till the reflux is there. do not continue more than 3 days in any case.
once the reflux is taken care of, you can give him PULSATILLA 30C one dose just before sleeping at night. note the response and report.

One dose given very very hard to get to sleep last night and woke up several times when apparently asleep. Slept OK after that. Wants Mum around all the time, crying about people blowing their nose etc, very cuddly.

Almost right.
He had one superb nights sleep was a little hard to settle on 2nd feeding but slept through till 6am and then another couple of hours in bed with me.
Last night however was again very unsettled on getting to sleep, would not resettle in his own bed at 12.30 feeding until he had about 3 hours in bed with me and was up agian at 4.30 and would not resettle at all.
Still does not sleep in bed during day will only sleep in front pac or car.

you can give him PULSATILLA 30C in infrequent intervals, after every 3 to 4 days.
after giving 6 to 8 doses, you should stop and watch for some days for improvement.
