Hyoscyamus question
I found some great information about Hyoscyamus well matching to the symptoms:Hyoscyamus is the best remedy for those with paranoid traits and behavioral problems. The typical Hyoscyamus pattern is incoherent, excited behavior, muttering, and obscene sexual exhibitionism. Laughter at inappropriate times is common, as is a sense of being ostracized in a private world.
Behavioral problems - violent outbursts and a desire to shock, with behavior ranging from simple foolishness to shameless sexual exhibitionism. Characteristic impulses are to appear naked, masturbate, and handle the genitals. Lewdness, promiscuity, or an erotic obsession may develop. Jealousy is common, and in children is often due to a new baby in the family.
This all fits. Now I'm just wondering what would be the correct dosing to affect the behavior, but so that the patient does not develop physical symptoms that come with Hyos.

Hello cicka
You may start the remedy with 6c, then can be followed up with 30c and 200c later giving enough periods in between. Give the med. in wet dose(refer for wet dose in my profile or on this forum. YOu can give this remedy till there's no undesired aggravation. When first signs of aggravation is noticed stop the remedy.

Hi maheeru!
Thanks for the answer.
I didn't find the info on the wet dose, but do you mean putting the dose in water and taking a sip?
how often should the patient take one potency - once a day or more and for how long, please?

Hi Cicka
If you had searched by typing Wet dose on forum search or in my profile there would have been reference to preparation of wet dose. Any way take 3/4ths filled 500 ml water bottle, put 3 to 5 pills/drops inside and let them dissolve and take 5 drops from this bottle. This constitutes a dose. Preserve this bottle away from sunlight. For every subsequent dose, shake the bottle up and down vigorously for 7 times just before taking 5 drops from the bottle. For 6c --dosage will be twice daily, for 30c once daily and for 200c twice weekly. You have asked how long? It depends upon the sensitivity and the results. As long as improvement takes place and no aggravation is there doses can be continued. If aggravation is there or improvement has ceased, then leave 10 days gap and move onto higher potency. If there's no improvement at all, then we should look for another remedy that appropriately covers the symptoms.
Hyoscyamus';s got tendency to lascivious mania. So it'd help with such sexual symptoms.
