hair loss after chemical straightening

Hi,
I had very thick and wavy hair and 6 motnhs ago i got chemical straightening done. after that my hair have been falling a lot, i almost have half of my hair left... hair are not coming out of scalp but breaking at the point where new hair is growing and chemical straightening ended,i ts that joitn that has become weaker and my hair falls easily even combing/brushing or during washign i see so many hair every where... please tell me if my hair situation can be improved. i have noticed my hair getting thin as well....
I am 30 year old, not taking any medicine and healthy otherwise.
