Rheumatic Arthritis and very dry eyes- Please help
Can any of the doctors here suggest a remedy for my mother, 59 years,55 kg, 5 feet, no high BP and not dibetic. She lives in Kerala, India, where the climate is very humid. Her recent complains are1. She has rheumatic arthritis from 15 years
2. recently she developed very dry eyes which started only a few years ago,
3. but her eyes used to become red with itching, from around 20 years, it used to subside itself a few days later.
At present eyes r dry, tears does not come out at all.
Eyes feel irritated as if some dust has gone in and turns red many a times.
It worsens in the sun or hot weather. Also worsens in the evening. irritation lessens by closing of eyes.
Eye doctor diagnosed it as due to Rheumatic Arthritis. She has got Rheumatic Arthritic , it is tested positive with 2-4
Her nose and mouth feel dry but she is not too thirsty as such.
She is tensed.
She uses eye drops for the eyes and used to take medication for Arthritis too.

I am really sorry for the late reply. I recently had my second baby and that kept me busy could not reply. My mother tried the prescribed remedy but she says it has not helped her a bit. One thing I noticed was when she stopped all medicines, she started getting pain in her shoulders. Her eye doctor says her eyes have become more dry. Can you suggest any other remedy
