Hyperhidrosis - It's killing me.Pls help!

Hello,

I have recently discovered that i have the hyperhidrosis problem (exessive scalp and face sweating) now for 7 years. before i try botox or any any other english medications, i am curious to know this problem can be solved by homeopathy?

The exact problem i have is

hyperhidrosis > Primary hyperhidrosis > Craniofacial hyperhidrosis (affects the face and head. It's the least common form.)

Thank YOu.

Hi KandyJet:
I own and manage a health products company in Florida and my own daughter has palmer hyperhidrosis, so I know exactly what you are going through. And, I am not about to tell you that some blend of herbs in a liquid form or gel caps is going to help you, as this is a very difficult problem to resolve. In fact, I have been looking for an alternative treatment for my daughter and have had her try many things (including Drysol, accupuncture, calmatives, endocrine formulas, iontopheresis, and so on) and none of it has provided permanent relief yet. In fact, when she had surgery this summer, they gave her Oxycodone and Robaxin (for muscle spasms) and that was the only time her hyperhidrosis ever shut off completely.

Next week, we'll be visiting a dermotologist. We're gonna ask him to let her try Robinul, which is the lastest prescription medication that works for a lot of hyperhidrosis cases.

Beyond that, it's Botox injections every 6 months, or the ETS-C operation, but the later is a last ditch effort. In your case, there is something new that they are doing in the UK called micro-liposuction, if the Robinul does not work for you. You will need to talk to a dermatologist, though, so call around and ask which one has experience with hyperhidrosis... not all of them have dealt with it.

The other thing we did was to check to find out what the insurance company would cover and what they won't. Most insurance companies have very specific written guidelines for hyperhidrosis. Our company will not cover accupuncture or the new micro-liposuction, but they will cover the Botox, if you have tried the prescription meds first and they did not work.

If you find anything that really works for you, please return the favor for us and email me and let me know.

Kandyjet,
You need to describe yourself.
Your Mood Temperament, nature, likes , dislikes etc?
Also tell how this problem worries you?(your heading is its killing me what do you mean by that, how is it killing you?)

You will need a constitutional remedy, means I will have to understand you as a person fully then the remedy i arrive at will be the one which will be deep acting & will have the capability to cure hyperhidrosis?

P.S: Answer in detail dont just answer for the sake of answering?

Regards,

Dr.Yogesh

Hell all,
Thank you so much for your kind replies.

to Walk_the_walk : awesome reply. Robinul, now it's top of my list after botox. today i spent my full day finding reviews about 'Robinul' and found some important facts.

it is reported that Robinul is is effective in treating Craniofacial sweating.

Mario Gasparri, MD | Medical College of Wisconsin Cardiothoracic Surgeon :- '
Medications like Robinul will dry you up and inactivate your sweat glands chemically. It will also inactivate everything else in your body that relies on this chemical for stimulation

The subset of hyperhidrosis where Robinul has shown some success is for people who have what we call craniofacial or facial hyperhidrosis. For those patients, for whatever reason, itÂ’s controlled with much lower doses of Robinul so that it works for them. But for palms or feet or underarms, the side effects are too much.' the full article is here (pls google 'Treatment Options for Hyperhidrosis' and click first result.

Further, the important side affect with Robinul is urinary retention & possible heat stroke under excessive body heat. apart from that dry mouth and dry eye are reported. so i slightly feel botox is better than this one. ETS-c will be my last attempt after above all :). regarding drysol, i am afraid drysol will take away my remaining few hair on my head. already i feel sever irritating (sctrach) due to scalp damages.

to yogeshrajurkar :

Please kindly google for 'cranioficial hyperhydrosis'.

here are few problems i feel.
Exessive sweating over head and face. this condition occour when you walk few meters, do sports or situations like over emotional. Social embarrassment is the bigest problem. you can hide your palm or feet or armpit. but you cant hide your head or face. scalp get sever damage every time sweating over head scalp. so hair loss is inevitable.

Hi Cameron11,

Homeopathy looks at the whole person and then gets
a remedy to put things back into balance so this won't
go on. Instead of using drugs which just suppress the
problem.

If you want a suggestion on here you need to fill out
the form/ http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/188925
and put the answers on here. Kandyjet did not do this and did
not get a remedy.

If in UK you are covered by the National Health Ins and
you can have your GP refer you to a homeopath near you
to take your case in person.
