10 week old infant with allergy symptoms
Hello,I have a 10 week old baby girl who appears to have allergy symptoms. Backstory: she had severe "colic" and reflux starting at 3 weeks. I started treateknh two weeks ago with nat phos 6x 1/2 tab before and after each feed up to 6 doses per day. After a few days her symptoms mostly resolved and then they worsened again. I stopped the treatment yesterday as I do not think it was helping. My thought is maybe the remedy did help and when I continued it it caused her symptoms again? Not sure. She is resolvknh slowly and I removed dairy, soy and eggs from my diet about 3 weeks or so ago. Her symptoms are worse during the day. She sleeps in the bed with me at night and may spit up once but goes back to sleep easily. My concern at this time is that she has started rubbing her nose feverishly, I see little to no nasal discharge and it doesn't seem to be congested. She has watery eyes and bags are noted under both eyes. She sneezes frequently and has an occasional dry cough. When she spits up sometimes copious amounts of ropy, clear mucus is noted. She also has watery stools, always been yellow in color and smell sour as in vinegar. She typically has 1 stool daily. She is on klaire labs probiotic daily. She is exclusively breast feeding and eats every 2 hours. She is gaining weight appropriately. Does this sound like she may have an allergy? There is a long haired cat in our home. The allergy symptoms seemed to start about a week or so ago.
